Screw ATT and their fake broadband and limited usage Clear is STAYING UNLIMITED!!!!!

Speed is useless with data caps cause speed enables video which is data intensive, but if there are evil data caps video will make you reach that data cap fast, which makes speed useless cause you can't use it for data intensive applications.

And don't give me this crap Clear has more spectrum and so on, ATT has lots, and lots of spectrum, the father of the cellphone Martin Cooper said so himself, I guess ATT is either too cheap, or inefficient with their network.

But Clear is STAYING unlimited cause they are efficient with their network.

APPLE IPHONE!!

Apple iPhone 4 represents that it's a fourth generation version, not that it runs on a 4G network. Why do people think this is a 4G phone was At&T is a 3G network?

AT&T CEO Warns That Metered Pricing On the Way

Comments made by AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson during a recent investor conference indicate that metered data pricing is likely in the firm's future. Stephenson didn't say exactly how data pricing would be altered, nor when any change would take place, but he did say that the company will charge heavy users of its mobile data network more than those who use it infrequently. Stephenson also said that Apple's iPhone will be a key product for AT&T for "quite some time," which calls to question just how long the exclusive distribution agreement will last between Apple and AT&T. Stephenson reiterated that the company is taking measures to shore up its existing 3G network and believes HSPA will serve for several more years. "We're not in

Ten Keys to Being Happy with Your Service Provider...

1. Check your bill EVERY month and make sure you understand every single charge on it, even if it doesn't change month to month.

2. Understand that YOU are responsible for keeping track of your usage (voice, internet, texting, etc). Your provider is not going to hold your hand when it gives you many options to do it yourself.

3. If you have a problem with your phone, do NOT call for support while talking on it! Make sure you have a way to get on a different phone, even a pay phone (calling 1800-xxx-xxxx is free on pay phones).

4. When on the phone with a rep, act professional when they are trying to help you. They are people too. The nicer you are, the more willing they are to help you and the easier it is to help. Do not rant ...

Simple ??? non data phones

I've decided I don't and won't use a data plan enough. I want a phone with good camera and long durable battery life. I keep seeing phones come out with 3 & 4 hr talk time, which means charging every night. Is there such a phone out there even unlocked.

Seriously considering AT&T

Currently, I am in lower Alabama with Verizon, however I am planning a move soon and I am considering porting my three lines or at a minimum two of them to AT&T. The one issue that I have is Google Voice. It is going to be tough to give up the GV/Friends and Family play, but I am pretty close. I guess I will be stalking this forum in the meanwhile.

ATT Bold 9700 louder than TMO Bold 9700?

Well I did consider TMO because of the 3G & UMA. And I played with the store unit and my buddies who's on TMO. And ever time I thought, man the volume might be an issue. 😕
Then I got my ATT Bold 9700 and I think it's louder than the one on TMO. I know there the exact same other than the frequencies they use for 3G.
But I'm telling you I'm relieved I got the one from ATT.

Does at&t offer this plan?

I tried navagating through the at&t wireless website and cannot find any information.
I am looking for a unlimited text and data plan with no minutes. I use my device for internet and texting, and don't wish to pay 40.00/month for minutes I'll never use.

This would be for a smartphone.

Next iPhone

So rumor is that ATT will be launching the next iPhone, maybe as soon as next month.

http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone »

But the specs say like the iPad it'll us a Micro-SIM. Therefore not being compatible with any other current ATT phone nor the current iPhone...REALLY!?! 😡

I'm guessing theres no such thing as a Micro-SIM adapter that would let you swap phones? 😕

Any news/specs on the HTC Aria

My AT&T rep came into the store today and told me to keep an eye out for info on the HTC Aria. Its suppose to be their next Android phone and possibly be released mid/late June. Its suppose to be announced June 7th. Does anyone on here know ANYTHING about it yet, because I'm tired of waiting for a good Android phone on AT&T

iPhone without data plan

Do you know if it is possible, or will be possible in the future, to be able to get an iPhone without a data plan. I can't really justify paying an additional $30/month for data that I'd hardly use anyway. My family has all data blocked at the moment. I want an iPhone for the iPod and phone functionality in one device. Internet via WiFi only.
