An unspecified problem put cell phone towers out of service Saturday evening, leaving some AT&T customers without wireless service.

Most of AT&T's wireless network was believed to be working again early Sunday morning. Late Saturday, AT&T tweeted about the issue and said crews were working to restore service.

"Los Angeles area AT&T customers may have issues with wireless service," the company said in a statement. "We are working now to resolve. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Today, my Yahoo email was hacked. I logged in and changed my pw and since then, when I go to Mail on my phone under settings, several options are grayed out (the first 4). Any idea how this happened or how I can get it fixed?

If I add a 3rd line to my account and cancel within 30 days, do I have to pay an etf and return my phone or is it none or one or the other?

I naively added a new phone to my personal AT&T Family Plan, not realizing the hell I would encounter trying to port a number from a different market for the new phone.

Reading posts on this site and others, it seems that NBI is the solution, but that a wide rollout of NBI for consumers has been stalled for years. It seems some customers have had luck cajoling their way into business NBI accounts so they could mix numbers from different markets, and some subset of those have then been able to convert back to personal NBI so that they could regain OLAM, or add a FAN, etc.

I'm wondering if there is any shortcut through this maze of semi-deceit, whereby I could find some department at AT&T willing to convert me directly to a personal NBI ...

Does anyone know when the at&t versions of the droid3 and droid bionic are coming out? my upgrade is in febuary and ive got the atrix now

After watching this site for several years and owning many phones (currently IP4). the improvements and technology is amazing. My question, there doesn't seem to be much improvement in the batteries. Phones can to most everything, but the battery life seems just as poor as couple years ago. Wife seems to have to charge her I4 by the middle of the afternoon everyday. Is there any big improvements coming.

Was with AT&T for a couple years. Left for Sprint due to the HTC EVO.

Over the past few weeks Sprint coverage has gotten noticeably worse so I’m heading back to AT&T. All the Android phones seem pretty much the same, anything on the horizon that is worth waiting for? I’m not interested in the iphone 5,6 or 7.

I'm an ATT Blue customer for the past 7 years. I did my 2 yr requirement, then went on a month to month basis. I've been paying $43 including taxes for 2 phones with 1000 minutes.

Now ATT is closing down the system that my phone runs off of by saying my phone won't work on their new system (3G). Well that's a lie because I loaned my phone to my graddaughter to use temporarily when her's broke and she put her 3g card in and it worked and even did an upgrade to my phone, when ATT kept telling "me" there were no upgrades availale.

So now with the forced switch I have to choose a new plan, which will make my new monthly chg is $80 per month for the same amount of minutes. And if I get a smartphone I'm forced to have a data plan.

Anyone know of the best phone to get on AT&T that works great with Ford Sync system? I prefer a regular flip style phone - not iPhone or PDA. I also need to be able to get software for the phone that syncs contacts with Outlook and tethering if possible.

I currently have a Nokia 6650 and although it pairs with Sync on my 2009 Ford Fusion, it does not transfer the address book so I cannot dial by saying someone's name. Otherwise, this has been a fantastic phone. It does tethering and syncs with Outlook with Nokia's free software.

I would appreciate a recommendation from someone who is using their phone on a Ford Sync equipped vehicle.

This is kind of a good article. TMO has over the last few years been pumping out new and HSPA + capable smartphones while ATT has been giving us more crap (HTC Status) and continually relying on the iPhone.
Will the bigger choice of devices disappear if the ATT/TMO merger is approved? 😕
