i worked for cell one for 3 yrs and am looking to get into alltel. jsut some questions.. is this a good company to work for? how is hte pay? and how is the environment in the call center in boardman? any info on this would be appriciated..thanks bunches 😉

Does anyone know if a phone like the samsung u740 (the dual flip) is going to come out for alltel, or if any other new phones will be coming out? I am looking at a new phone, but the razr2 doesn't seem worth the 300 price tag. I'm sitting here patiently waiting for a phone to strike my eye. 👀

My current phone is on its last legs. The battery is declining. My phone goes from fully-charged to about to die after only a 30 minute call. It has been almost 2 years since I bought the phone so it is time for a new one.

So what's the problem? I don't like any of the choices I have with Alltel. Does anybody else think that Alltel's phone variety is lacking? I can't complain about my service and I am on a family plan where my monthly costs are pretty low (which keeps me from switching) but I cannot seem to decide on a replacement for my current phone.

Any suggestions from what is available? I want a dependable phone with good reception, speaker phone, and an intuitive interface. I would like a Qwerty keyboard, but I don't want to spen...

It seems everyone is saying the investors that bought alltel will not get into the wireless business. But every time I see something on communications I see Goldman Sachs!

Yesterday was my last day working for the Alltel company store in Charlottesville, VA. I am off to what I think will be greener pastures effective this coming Monday. I decided to leave Alltel employ voluntarily since there was little chance of my making required quota, therefore being able to make the money I wanted to make in this store.

I want to state for the record that Alltel has some of the best coverage in the country, and I plan to keep my Alltel personal line, at least for the duration of my contract (5/30/09). However, they adhere to a set of standards which are at best, unfair, and at worst, immoral.

Everyone who works in cellular services gets the bulk of their payout from commissions. I have no problem with that at...

well here I am again asking for help with my smartphone that once again is smarter than me. I recently reset my phone and now I can't get the today background the same as before. I have a picture of my family that I use for the background and when the phone was new it allowed me to adjust the transparency so I could see the picture perfect. since the reset it doesn't allow this and the picture is barely visible. please help and thanks again for your time.

When you file an insurance claim, do you have to get the same phone that you have as a replacement?
I have the samsung u520 and i'm really not a big fan of it. Ive had it for about 3 or 4 months now, and I want to know if i can just "lose" it and pay the deductible to get something different? If so, what would be my replacement options?

Does one know if Alltel will be coming to the Houston area?

We're no longer able to order the Motorola V3a, Samsung 420 and Samsung 520 as they have been discontinued. I'm not a big fan of the V3a, but this still sucks because this was still one of the better selling phones in our market.

Any word on if there are any new phones coming out to replace these ones? I know the Rokr is coming soon, but that to me doesn't count because it's supposed to be rather expensive from what I've heard.

I just bought the Razr V3A from Alltel yesterday and I think it may already have a problem. After adding a few contacts, the phone cut off and come back on. This has happened a few times but I wasn't sure if it was updating itself(I'm clueless about cell phones)or just a bad phone. When it turns off and on, it acts like when you *228. Thanks for any input!

I am thinking about getting a U-Prepaid plan. Does U-Prepaid have picture messaging? Does it cost to recieve? Is the bluetooth on the motorola's Crippled?
