Okay a few months back I posted a question on the choice of phones to get from an upgrade. I got the moto v9m. I wasnt getting a PDA phoone (PPC6800)and my bill double and Im not going to use half of the features. The only problems are that not too many stores I see have the wired headsets for the v9m, whats up with that. Does anyone know how to set the contacts list by speed dial? # I've read the book all last night and it told me nothing. 😕

can i buy a v9m razr2 that was made for like verizon or sprint and still use it for alltel?

My parents just bought that phone and I was just wondering if someone will tell me what thats phones capabilities are.

I have been doing research and speaking with alltel about Vista working with the 8130. They say no but I have gone to the blackberry website and watched a tutorial and it indicated that the software will work. Is anyone out there using the 8130 with Vista & are you having any issues?

The LG Scoop (a rebranded LG Rumor), the Samsung Muse (a rebranded Samsung Gleam), and a new color (Red) for the Blackberry Pearl has been announced and should be out sometime this quarter. Please post here if you hear anything new about the release date.

Ok, my contract is almost up for renewal so I am taking the time to figure out my new phone. Based on what I like and what I want, I have narrowed it down to the HTC PPC6800 and the Blackberry 8830. I would like to open this up to people to help me pick the phone.

I ask for help as I currently have a Moto Q phone and it is a total piece of S$*t. The phone locks up and crashes all the time. I miss tons of calls cause the phone crashes and gives no visible notice until I try to do something.

I work in the IT field and the majority of the staff that works with me uses blackberrys and they have no problems with them. One of my coworkers uses the PPC6700 and loves it and has no problems. I hear that Windows Mobile 6.0 is much bett...

Can anyone tell me if they have heard of Alltel service being offered to Northern Indiana. I would really like to go with Alltel but it is not available in Mishawaka which is less than 20 miles from Niles, MI which does have Alltel service.

These phones were unveiled at CES 2008 with no expected release dates, price ranges, or more information other than the Scoop is similar to the LG Rumor, and the AX 565 is a mid-range music centered handset with a touchpad on the front. Does anyone have any additional info on these phones?

I was just on the alltel website looking through the phones and the KRZR K1m is back for $79.99 I thought that was pretty weird. Anyone know anything about that?

i live/work in western va (not wva) and frankly the service around here in towns (waynesboro, staunton) and larger cities (harrisonburg, charlottesville) is fine, but outside of them in the rural areas it is really sketchy and decelent in some places, where alltel works fine. my RAE mentioned that sometime in the near future alltel may have a roaming agreement to allow at&t to roam here. he hasn't been able to provide me with dates; so i was wondering if any of you guys that work/have alltel have heard anything.

he told me that alltel sites have GSM base location, but not necessarily the antennas put up yet

i got a customer that bought a 1gig card and we did format it and he supposivly downloaded the music correctly, but it will not show up on the HUE...but it will show up and play on a 8600 and a BlackBerry world....any help?

I hate everything about it. I hate how they pay us for it, I hate the high-maintenance customers, I hate the replenishments and I hate the service. Seriously...it is a pain in the butt to do anything involving pre-paid. The customers are generally idiots and have no clue what they have. How do you not know your plan? What? You just come in and put some money down and leave? Seriously. They can't do anything themselves. All for like $2. WoW. Gee thanks alltel.

LG RUMOR....ITS TENITVE ..BUT WE NEED IT...

So I have now had three brand new Motorola Q's and all of them have worked out horribly for me. Everyone started to freeze every half hour. I have atleast another year on my contract. Is it even possible that they would let me trade phones to say a Blackberry and pay the difference? or am I screwed?
