LG Voyager VX-10000

I just got my new Voyager.

The CD that came with it is for a PC. Where can I find a driver for a MAC??? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a lot of ringtones i just wanna put on my phone bc for some reaoson msn takes FOREVER to send them to my phone or they don't sent at all.

I've been doing some research on this but can't seem to get a clear cut answer. Perhaps there isn't the perfect solution.

I'm looking for a device that will replace my cell phone and Sony Clie at the same time. To be honest, I'm drawn to the new voyager because of the touch screen and keyboard. Those are two features, that I believe the LG has over the Black Berry.

Is there a way to Hot Sync the calendar, contacts and e-mail from Outlook 07 to the voyager using perhaps 3rd party software? I don't necessary need real time sync with a server for my e-mail. I'm not that important of a person that e-mail can't wait until I get in the office.

Anyhow, if there is anyone that has any experience with this I would really appreciate their inp...

hey does any one know what is the deal with the whole limited edition thing? and WHY it's limited edition? do you think they will still have this phone in november? because thats when i can upgrade and i am not paying retail price for a phone.

I understand that using the most up to date version of BitPim, one can transfer calendar and contacts to bit pim...I haven't got my phone yet it's coming in a couple of days... But, how does that process work?

-1.) Do you pull existing calendar info from outlook into bitpim?
-2.) Does it only upload to Outlook from phones internal calendar through BitPim?
-3.)Can a snyc between outlook and voyager be attained?

I use backup assistant for contacts, so i'm not worried about the contacts, but would really like to be able to sync or at least transfer from outlook into the voyager....

I changed my phone number last night. I tried to send a picture to Pix Place and my phone reboots. Has anyone else had this problem. Any suggestions on what I should do? I have logged into the site with my new phone number.

my 2 year is up as of tomorrow 2.8.08, I like the voyager but what is new on the horizon? Should i grab the voyager while i can?

just went to localvzwstore and the rep told me that the new 07 software is available. she did not tell me to much about the changes. but this is what i remember... updates and enhancements toHTMLbrowser. bluetoothupdates and enhancements. bluetoothecho fix forjabra350. keypad volume fix when set to off. allow user to customize shortcuts. there was more but i could not remember. sorry. got mine updated and it seems to workok...

Has anyone come up with a shortcut for Locking the phone or a way to add it to the shortcut meny?

My screensavers were working fine. I was playing with the screensaver, slideshows, and wallpapers and now my screensavers don't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

When I upgraded to the Voyager from the 9800, I had several GIN games on my 9800. (That I paid for) Is there any way to transfer these games to my Voyager?

My converted video (tv shows ) work great when using the speakers, but when I use a bluetooth head set then the picture stutters a little and the sound gets off.

Any ideas why?

I added a music file through USB mass storage to my sd card and now wondering how do i play the file? I tried to access it through my music but it does not appear there. Any ideas?

Is it me or does loading songs on this take FOREVER. And by for ever I mean it's been hours, probably around 8-10 of them now, and this damn thing is still synchronizing music. Granted it's 8 gigs but I dropped 8 gigs on to the card twice and had to erase it because the phone didn't read it and I had to go this route to get the songs on there. When I dragged and dropped it took about 10 minutes.

Is there a faster way or is this pitiful way the only way to do it? It's killing me. For real, it's raising my blood pressure to a level that can't be too healthy, so in essence it's killing me.

I have Mobile Email & I have successfully set up my POP & Hotmail accounts, including the email alerts. Problem is my work email is IMAP. I have set it up, & can send & receive emails, but I can't get the email alerts to work for this account. Any ideas?

I like to send a lot of pics and On EnV and my 8100 I could have groups of contacts and would go to send a pic and go into the groups and pick which ones I wanted to send that pic too. But with voyager cant do that as it will send to everyone in group which might not be appropriate type of pic for some. It was a quick way to send to multiple people without scrolling through 140 contact names. Wish Verizon and LG would fix that one. That is basically my only gripe about phone!

I upgraded my software today. I noticed that you can now reassign shortcuts in the Fn Menu. Anyone know what else is done by the Version 07 upgrade? I wish they had made it easier to totally lock the phone. It is easy locking the front display.
