LG Voyager VX-10000

aight i dont wanna get ahead of myself here, i know i've been throwin around alotta questions and what not, but im tryin to use bitpim to sync my calender and contacts. i downloaded the link given by bruce fulton{which by the way seems to be the most useful information provider here, thanks bruce} so everything was installed correctly i picked the lg 10000, when i tried to export or inport any files, like calender, pics etc, it said "cannot detect port" could not detect any ports on auto detect, can i be steered in the right direction here?

I am just wasting time on the internet while watching the football game and came across this eBAY auction. Doesn't this seem weird/fishy? What do you think the deal with this is? Make sure to read the "Questions" section towards the bottom of the auction. My gut tells me that whomever wins this is going to be very unhappy...

Currently I have the Motorola Q and I love it. I don't have a data plan on it so I can't send or receive pix or flix messages and I also can't run VZ Navigator, VCast, Mobile TV or anything that regular verizon phones can do. And that is starting to bug me and everything. But if I would get rid of the Q it would be for a Voyager but I dont know if I should get one. Do you think I should? Do you guys like the touchscreen idea? Thanks

Is there any way to set your text messaging inbox for more than 200 messages. i have a gig mem card. is there a way to place the memory on the chip? someone help!

Had the 05 upgrade today and was told that near the end of Jan there will be a mass unlocking of the phone for other apps. I asked about 3rd party browsers, he did not know. I asked how the un locking would happen, he did not know, could be new Firm ware or could be via PRL upgrade. Any info??

So I should be receiving this phone tomorrow from Verizon since I've had a lot of issues with my Palm Treo. But now I'm having second thoughts since I've read a bunch of negative reviews and threads on here. People are saying that the touch screen can be unresponsive, the push email setting doesn't work sometimes, the internet is slow, the volume is low, and the battery doesn't last very long! Are these all true? Do you think some people might have defected phones? Please let me know if the majority of you are also having these issues! Thanks 🤨

verizonhelper, you seem to know your stuff, how about this. after working perfect for the first month my email is no longer pushed to the front screen and i don't receive any alerts. i have the new update and have talked to support--no help. i really don't want to replace the phone since i have an invizishield cover installed. any ideas?

any one else hate this stupid phone?? problem #987..when im taking video im all set up looking through the screen, everything looks bright and crystal clear? very satisfying, when i hit record..BAMMM!!! the screen turns 80% blacker and i cant see anything, my freind has the lg 8300 and his camera looked fine,, anyone wanna buy my voyager?? anyone else having this problem? and all the other completley retarted problems i listed before..I HATE THIS PHONE SO MUCH NOW.. biggest dissapointment ever..i cringe everytime i see the commercial..

Hi, I have learned if there is anywhere to get answers this is the place. I was wondering if it is possible to load movies and watch them in landscape mode on the front screen. Also, is this phone Mac friendly, the wifes venus seems to hate my Mac but my Pearl loves it- Any help would be appreciated and everyone have a happy holidays and a happy new year. 🙂

sorry if this question is a repeat...can I hide pictures on either my phone or card? on my v710 I was able to seperate the pictures on my sd card and my phone. this vx10000 appears to combine an show all pictures together....Thanks Steve

Is the the maximum of Sent Messages 50? Once I sent out 50 text messages it automatically deletes the oldest one. Can someone advise? Thank you.

I have this phone and have had it for just over a month. I haven't had any problems with it until tonight. Now whenever i hit the space key (either of the two on the inside or the one on the touch screen) my voyager freezes completely for about a minute than turns itself off and back on. I can't even send a message anymore since I would need to use the space key.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? I will be going to the verizon store tomorrow to try and get this problem fixed. I use about 200-300 texts per day if that has any influence on this problem.

Any knowledge you may have that could help me fix this would be greatly appreciated!

AFTER ONE MONTH OF EMAIL ALERTS WORKING PERFECT THEY HAVE STOPPED. MY EMAIL ISNT BEING PUSHED TO THE FRONT SCREEN AND THERE ARE NO ALERTS ANYMORE. ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM? SUPPORT TOLD ME TO GET THE NEW UPDATE.

Does anybody have any idea's of what I can use for a case for the Voyager or somekind of wrist strap/hand strap? I've already dropped the Voyager due to it slippin outta my hands during or while on phone calls. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

First let me say that I was the FIRST person on line for this phone at my local store when it first came out, got there at 6 am. My major complaints are: The ring tones are extremely low, the vibration isn't as strong , both compared to the V. Also the lock feature is ridiculous as if you make a call , hang up and go to make another the phone must be unlocked again. And yes I changed the setting on the phone to be unlocked most of the time. Also as someone said before if you call your voice mail or any other number that requires you to put in numbers you must unlock the phone again.
The mobile TV is cool but why make the screen so big and not use all of it ???? No speaker phone on the outside?? Touch screen is not very responsive , and as p...

With the Verizon Webmail can you be notified when you receive a new email? Also to get to it do you have to go to get it now and on the go each time or is there a way to keep that open on your phone?

With wireless sync is that push email. Ive always had devices with wireless sync so can someone tell me if the $19.99 a month is worth it or not. I have multiple email accounts that i need to check throughout the day
