LG Voyager VX-10000

When my phone is closed and the touch pad is locked and I receive a text there is no sound. But when the touch pad is not locked it I get a text alert sound. Any help with this or am I the only one with this problem.

Today is the end of my V-Cast trial. I live in an area that does not have EV-DO or the mobile TV. To keep or to remove--that is the question!

Hey Everyone, I was at a local Verizon store playing w/ the Voyager again and When i went to aaccess websites such as Meebo.com and even Yahoo.com, they didn't work. Is anyone else having this problem at all? It's really weird. Are you able to get to ANY website that you want to? What is the software upgrade supposed to fix for the Voyager? Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm ready to use my new every two on the Voyager (upgrading from Samsung A950), but after reading all the forums and reviews on the Voyager, I'm thinking I should wait to purchase this phone. I know all new releases have flaws and bugs, but I'm hoping that by waiting the newer Voyager phones will have the updates. My question: If I order this phone from the VZW online website now, will these phones have the newer updates or should I wait until mid-January to ensure bugs have been corrected?

My main question is if LG/VZW is going to support the phone and continually provide fixes/updates to it... OR are they just going to release it and develop more new phones and never bother with it. If that is the case, then I'm not sure I'll get one.

I was just surfing around on youtube when I came across this guys video where he was able to turn his iphone into a house network remote control. He could turn on/off lights, activate everything in his home theater, etc. I was wondering if anything like that could be possible with the Voyager??

I love having a qwerty keyboard on the inside for texts. I also like the fact of using the touch qwerty on the external when you are on the internet. However, is there a way to text using the qwerty instead of the numberpad version on the external screen?

Is there some type of holder for the Voyager for the car that will firmly hold the phone upright so that you can see who is calling you or texting you and also rotate horizontally when you want to use Navigator? Thanks for any help! Also what types of cases, or holsters for the belt is everyone using here? Is anyone using that Shieldzone protective covering and if so, would you recommend it? I don't own the Voyager yet, but in a few months, I can't wait to get it.

I recently went from the Q to the Voyager and now im trying to get the music from my old card to the new phone. After tranfering a song the song is stored in My Sounds, how do i get it to My Music. thanks

Can youtube videos be played on the Voyager because when I was in Verizon today i loaded up Youtube but wasn't able to play a video. It said Javascirpt needs to be enbable,d but i did have it enabled. Thakns for any input guys!

Ok so I tried logging into my Yahoo email account on the Voyager which worked fine. I sent myself an email but when I recieved the email in my inbox, i just saw the subject line and not the body of the message....anyone else experience this or am I just doing something wrong?

How does the helio ocean rate next to the voyager? I am trying to decide which phone to get.

I saw a posting a few days ago on how to fix it so you can watch the full video...can't seem to find it.

Also, I called Verizon tech and when I finally...got to someone who knew how to do it we got disconnected.

One of the replies had, a step by step process I could tell the Verizon employees on how to do so.

How can you make the battery last longer on the voyager. It seems to die veryy fast.

i thought id be a good person to give a full rundown about this phone for having it now for two weeks and coming from every lg phone/verizon phone from the lg700 up to the voyager and everything in between.

never have i had a phone i had to charge during the day the 9900 battery lasted much longer.lg seems to have forgotten the basics on this phone like, a camera flash, i cant believe they would come out with a state of the art 600$ phone with no flash, my lg7000 had flash on it like 3 yrs ago. THE MP3 player does not play loud at all. i can barely here it over the crap they play at the gym, the 9900 mp3 player cranked. Many times the touch screen wont work i gotta tap it like 5 or 6 times. Also the load times for the video...

I transferred the songs from my 8300 1G SD card to my Voyager. Need help transferring from the phone to my new 6GB card, without doing it one by one. Can't seem to get to the same menu I used on my 8300. Thanks anyone. 😕
