LG Voyager VX-10000

i did not get a software cd with my phone, i called verizon and they wont give me a new one, i was told i could download the drivers throught the net. i have windows vista and it said it was installed unsuccsesfully. does anyone have a direct link to the drivers? and when i do get it to work, can i tranfer files, picss, etc. just like a cardreader?

question 2: i was told u can upload videos from the phone directly to the mobile youtube site,,, does this really work cause i dont see how to do this?

At the Verizon Wireless store in Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, NY. It cost $24.99. However, they did not have the plastic screen overlay. I might have to order that online.............

Oh so I am brand new here but I have read two very good ways to download ringtones to our phones here and at other forums;
One way is the BitPim way through their website and the second way is through our memory card and through my sounds...
The second definitely sounds easier, but then you would have to download a program to chop up your music to make it small enough to text to yourself...
So I was just wondering if anyone out there has tried both and if so which ones will give us the best sounding ringtones? And if you use the second way, what is a good, simple, free site to use to cut down my Mp3s? Thanks for your help thus far...

I have successfully transferred files to my sounds and my pix onto my sd card but when I look for my sounds and pictures on the phone they don't appear. Is anyone else having this problem or figured out how to fix it??

I am going to be a new VZW customer and i am coming from tmobile which i think is so awsome. My question is I am going to get the voyager, i currently have the dash through tmobile, I pay $20 for internet and there is no extra charge for using my phone as a modem i think vzw calls it tethering. I asked the agents at the VZW store if the voyager could be used as a modem and they said yes and mentioned no extra charges. I keep reading forums where people are saying you have to pay $59 or $49 and then some are saying if you get the premium plan you don't have to pay extra. Can someone who knows what they are talking about please explain how this really works. If there is a charge is there any way around it? If there is a charge i don't unde...

im on my second voyager already the first one i had completley died now this second one i have is getting horrible battery life any idea how to improve it

...my cousin went to Verizon today to get the Voyager because she fell in love with mine and they told her they pulled the Voyager because of a problem they found with it...they didn't have any more information about it just that they didn't have it for sale anymore until the problem was fixed. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Has anyone figured out how to increase the size, cray how small it is.

I ordered the verizon screen protector and got in the mail today and I got sooooooooooooo mad at it and used all three of them!!!!!!! 👿 They all had each of their own problems! I feel fine and much better not having it on the phone! To put it short and sweet it wasn't worth it at all!!!!!!!!!! What would I be protecting my phone from anyhow?!?!?!?!?!? The only time that you would be able to addor it is when your contract is up so why bother keeping it in tip top shape? Plus, you would be more worried about it getting all of the scratches? My 2 cents! 😁

How in the world do you get the covvrflow screen? I added ID tags and album art to some of my mp3s and they show individually with no problem but i have no clue how to get the coverflow screen. Anybody know?

Does anyone else have this problem with the Voyager whether in speaker phone mode or normal phone mode. I can have the phone on half volume and I will hear a crackling noise in the main speaker and if I put it up to full volume it is so distorted that I can not hear the conversation. I have had other LG phones in the past as far back as the LG VX 6000 and have never had this problem before even on full volume. I have ordered 3 different phones and I have had the same problem on all of the phones. I have been to 4 different Verizon stores and have listened to to their display phones and there has been no distortion. Has anyone else had this problem with their phones? I feel so bad having lost my voyager. I lost it on saturday at a club I went to. Well, I have insurance and I already filed a claim but they're saying that the phone is on back order. So assuming that Verizon will not get another shipment til the 15th, should I expect Asurion to get the phone way after or maybe even before the 15th? And to top it off, my invisible shield came in today, and to put it on what voyager?!?!

How do I use the external touch screen keyboard? I cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

On the VZW page, "limited availability" is listed for the Voyager. What does this mean?

Did anybody get this case? I am going to have to order one; this seems to be the best option. I am not a big fan of the pouches. I have the protector for the screen but I need something that protects the body of the cell phone. What about the body glove one, did anybody order this?

I moved some music from my computer to my Voyager the other day and am loving it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to apply any of those songs as a ringtone??? 👀
