LG Voyager VX-10000

Hey everyone. If someone can go into their Voyager and tell me what the URL is for the original homepage set on the Voyager...the one that gives you the page w/the sports/news/weather, and the other mini icons.

I set the homepage to something else and don't remember what it was.

I think it was something like vzapp.something_or_other.blah

Does anyone have any ideas of what U can use like a wrist strap or something to prevent the Voyager from falling / or slipping out of your hands?

I converted a movie to 3GP with 320x240 resolution. I have a 2 gig Sandisk mini SD card that came preset with several folders. My Music, My Video etc. I added some mp3 music to the My music folder and the 3gp movie to the My Video folder. I also just put some mp3's on the mini disk, not in folders.

But nothing will play on the Voyager. Anyone know what needs to be done. The Verizon tech said I may need to have the mini disk formatted on the Voyager..he thinks.

How are movies recognized by the Voyager and what application plays it.

Everything works fine on my older Samsung and a friends LG KS20.

I did not get the phone yet, have to wait until the 23rd when I will be eligible for 1 yr discount. The reason I want phone is because of the size of screens. I have been told that the outside screen doesn't produce full pictures or videos? is that so and if so can you change a setting to produce full when received? I know that contact ID pics are very small as with my EnV but I hope the voyager gives bigger pics and vids when someone sends them to me,as I am tired of opening phone to see pics. You know the eyes are getting older.

I have searched these posts quite a bit, and read my manual, but still have not seen if there's a way to just lock certain applications (like test messages, pictures, and/or recent calls) from wandering/noisey eyes, on the Voyager, WITHOUT having to lock the phone completely.

On several other phones, I had the option to use your lock on any of the individual applications, which was very convenient, and fast to do.

I have read through volumes of posts in this forum, and haven't seen anything (kind of blurry-eyed at this point). Forgive me if I glossed right over the answer.

I called Verizon tech support to ask about transferring photos from my computer to my Voyager. They suggested VZWpix.com, and told me it was 25 cents/photo. I tried sending three pictures using my e-mail address@VZWpix.com. One picture was receivedby my phone. The other two bounced back with a message saying they could not be delivered within three hours. Anyone had experience with VZW.com and any idea why it worked only one of three times? Thanks!

I've been able to sync my Comcast email with Mobile Email in Get it Now, but am having problems with my Gmail.

I have heard that when syncing Gmail with Mobile Email you have to do some extra steps?

If anyone has synced their GMAIL only (B/c the way you do others is different) or know how too, could you let me know?

so i ordered my voyager this past saturday. tuesday they said i wouldnt ge tit till the 15th. i leave that day for the bahamas. so they told me i could cancel the order and go to a store and do it. so i found a store an hour away that said they ahd three. i rushed there.
they only had 3 enVs.
well drove to every store in that city and drove another hour and a half to another city who siad they had one.
went in there and in the process of upgrading they said it takes 24 hours for the eorder to cancel.
well the store said they would hold it for me for 2 days.
went last night. i traveled an hour and a half to this city.
and it still gave them an error that the order wasnt canceled.
i called c.c. and they got it for me $100 cheaper and...

you tube is telling me to update my flash player. Am I able to download applications? What do I do?

I've had my phone over a week now and the touchscreen is already losing its sensitivity...is anyone else having this problem? i really like this phone, but i won't if the touchscreen dies this quickly!

ok, I have looked and looked, but can not seem to find any (inside, Qwerty keyboard) adjustment to raise/lower speakerphone, when I have the phone open. I realize I can use the outside, side button to do it, but it seems there ought to be a button inside that you can use, so you do not have to somewhat close the lid (to get access to the side button).

On my Voyager, there is a HUGE volume difference between when using the speakerphone and when it is closed. And yes, I know that this is due to using the SAME speakers whether closed or open.

Thanks for your help. Just wanting to make sure I am not overlooking an obvious inside button solution.

I am a long time VZW customer. I've held off on an iPhone for the all the usual reasons - network, changing systems, contract, friends on VZW, etc.

I went to the store on Friday and played with the Voyager before I make a decision on the iPhone...The voyager is cute and a joke. No synching, lousy browser and a staff who knew far less than I did. Perfect for a kid

If you read the public comments of Verizon execs I hope you are not a stock holder. Unbelievable morons. No other word to describe it.

hey so i hated the beeps for when I got texts and I just figured out ringtone #7 isnt a full length ringtone just short for text so thats my new sound!! Anyone else have one of those ringtone numbers for text alerts?? let me know which one i will play around with them then! 🙂

Does anyone know if the voyager has a loop to put a handstrap on it??? I am so used to having one for my phone...it drives me crazy that i can't get one on the voyager!!! arrrrgh! =) 😳

Has anyone had their screen scratch(normal use and no abuse)? I dont want to get that stupid screen protector. I feel that i should be able to use my phone the way it was made without a screen protector!

I just got an ipod touch and put so much extra crap on it and its AMAZING. Love my phone but wondering if their are any possibilities out there :-)
