I miss this forum when it was choatic...those good ol' days before the phone was available...with pictures, rumors, release dates, ecko04 to be one of the first to have the phone...I miss those days...anyone else miss em'? 😢 😢 😢

How can I get the mp3 file from my transflash card to my phone. Please Help

Anyone out there know how I can move MP3's from my TF card to my phone (to use as ringtone's) without using seamedit? I don't want to fry my phone and I haven't found a seamedit all-in-one site that contains all the downloads/drivers I'd need to make it work.
I just got a new E815 (Verizon) and they 'fixed' the way you could save an item from a failed msg to the phone, so the workaround doesn't work anymore.

what kind of memory card do i need for the v710. All i would like to do is get mp3's on it. Along with that what else do i need besides the memory card to get it on my phone. And where can i buy these things (online or offline). THanks a lot.

Does anybody know how to transfer games to the phone w/out going through get it now. I know how to get ringtones now I want move to the next level and figure out how to get games. Anybody know any websites where you can download them? Greatly appreciated

I just recieved a new phone from the insurance company and I have a different software from my original V710. I would like the old version so I can transfer my songs from my memory card to my phone. Can anyone tell me if there is a way that I can put the old software on the new phone. If so where can I get it.

My 710 seems to have permanent scuff marks on the face of the home screen marks appear to be from key pad numbers and symbols anyone else have problem and cure thanks

And I installed the driver, but I don't understand how to actually transfer stuff to the phone. I understand that for ringtones and wallpapers I need a transflash, which I ordered a few days ago, (right?) but I would at least like to know how when the time comes. Do I need a certain program for it?

According to this artical about SanDisk's new flash card for the V710, they announce that the V710 is expected to be available in the second half of 2004 in North America. See You in July!

I have had my V710 since last August and have been browsing the internet on my Dell Axim X30 PDA Pocket PC. I have been using the #777 in DUN over bluetooth. Never had a glitch.

Now I am having issues. I can connect to VZW's #777 fine (the connection icon on my PPC turns green and shows I am connected with Packet Data). But when I launch my PPC IE Browser, i keep getting an error "The page you are looking for cannot be found". So I connect to VZW but cant browse any webpages! Did Verizon disable browsing from DUN?

Have they disabled DNS? Is there a proxy to now browse through?

Hey I hope somebody can help me, I just got a motorola v710 and i picked up a trans flash card and adapter from my local computer store.

when i go and plug the trans flash into my computer the phone made it's own motorola folder. i know most people use explorer and drag and drop, but when i go and transfer mp3's onto the card and put the card in my phone my phone says empty under my audio folder on my phone.

i tried with pictures and that works, i am able to view them. just no mp3's

my phone created a motorola folder with folders in there that says browser, shared folder and so on.

Where do i put the mp3's.

I appreciate the help.

i purchased my v710 in august. someone please tell me about this settlement thing. ive already read the post detailing what your entitled to get back if you purchased the phone before january ( yay im entitled :wink🙂, however can someone explain to me why there was even a settlement? thanxs!

i just picked up the v710 the other day and ive noticed that the camera doesnt work all that well unless you are outside or in a verry well lit area. the light on the camera doesnt work and the picture gets distorted easily. is there anything i can do or is there just something wrong with my phone. thanks
