Nokia 6682 / 6681

does anyone have a nokia 6620 for sale?

is there a way to delete all the text messages at once. Or do i have to do it one at a time.

I bought my 6682 after small use by original owner and most of my apps have expired. VoiceSignal for ex. only gives me the option to buy it. Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the apps so I can check them out? I do have the PC Suite on my laptop and both USB and bluetooth connectivity.

I have installed the full version of Voice Signal and it works fine with the side button on the phone. However when I try accesing it with my bluetooth headset I activate my voice command feature that came with the phone. Is there a way to reconfigure this so that I Open Voice Signal from my headset?

ok i use aol to receive and send mail either it be on my PC or on my phone through media net..if i want to attach a file and send it to my phone how do i go about doing this.. what email do i send it to? thks

what are the themes based on? Just checking in case I already have them. I have about 40 different ones on my spare 32mb card.

I've owned my 6682 now for almost a month. At first, I had no problems at all...no disappearing call log problems or anything. Now, the phone turns itself off in the middle of the night, the earpiece volume always resets it self to the lowest setting after every call, and bluetooth turns itself off and on whenever it wants. I switched from a Treo 650 (which had more than its fair share of problems) to the 6682...and while the 6682 is a better phone in my opinion, the problems that are starting to creep up are concerning me. Any opinions?

Where can I download more themes? (preferably for free)

yeah.. i know it comes with 2 rebates.. that too after 6-7 months, but i guess buy.com is a name relaible enough for that!!

kinda stuck on what phone to get now. i suppose i could go backwards and get the nokia 7610 that's still available on letstalk.com

i really don't want the moto mpx220 - rereleased or not - b/c moto's are junk and their chargers/batteries suck big time, and always screw up.

i guess i could get the sony erricson s710a, but it's not symbian.

damn, i really wanted this phone. might have to get a little nokia to suffice while i await it's return.

no way nokia dumps this and takes a total loss after all the advertisiting. i mean the fixes can't be that much of a major issue, can they...

Can you guys go to www.dslreports.com/mspeed either with the built in browser or Opera, do the 100k test and tell me what kinda speed you're getting?

I decided to call LetsTalk.com to swap out my phone (again...the first one arrived DOA, and I'm still within my 30 day window). LetsTalk is no long carrying the phone. Now, the last time they "didn't have the phone" was because it was out of stock...and I was told that when I tried to place my initial order for the phone. Now they are saying the will not be carrying the phone at all until the "issues with it are resolved." The customer service mgr. said they had too many returns being made due to issues. I was given the choice of getting another phone of equal value...or pay the difference on a different phone. Nice, huh?

they cant stop me they can only hope to contain me...since I violate no rules they cant block me out they can just erase my posts which is cowardly...They cant handle the truth and neither can the three stooges...on that note my daughter ( see I got married and had kids and I dont live in my sisters attic like you trolls ) she dropped my 6620 in the lake and I bought a 3220 and I love it, it does everything the 6682 does ( for the reasons I would have bought it ) and its much easier to handle so take that you simpletons... 🤣

The 6682 is listed as "not available" on Amazon.com and is not on the Cingular website at all.

Got my 32k sim today. First 4 power cycles, logs still there. The 5th time, call logs gone 😲 Oh well. Guess patiently await the firmware upgrade.

On a side note... I got my sim on eBay from N.Y., I am in L.A.. No prob activating it. So appears sims are not market area restricted.

Another observation, with the 32k sim... first time I go into the main menu, goes into the menu right away but takes a few seconds for the icons to display. Exit, back in and icons are there immediately. Has happened every power cycle so far. But again, JUST the first time into the menu. Kind of strange.

I just ordered the 6682 for myself along with a RAZR for my girlfriend. I'm totally new to the Symbian OS and wanted some suggestions for 3rd party software to try once I get the phone. What would you consider "must have" pieces of software?

Also, can you recommend any sites that are dedicated toward Symbian series 60 devices? Perhaps sites with software reviews & compatibility info?

Okay...I'm stoked about the phone, but I want my MMC card before the phone gets here. SO....where is the cheapest 512mB Dual Voltage RS-MMC card I can find? Please incl. any websites you guys know of. Much thanks, it's appreciated. 😁
