No more 2G Nokia phones

Did anyone else see that in the playbook? At least they're going to make it right.

In Need of an Honest Opinion

To make a long story short, I am returning to the US after living abroad, so I am currently shopping for a new cellphone carrier. I am reluctant to go back to my carrier from before my move abroad due to abundance of service issues I had with them, and am looking at sprint merely because a family member has had no complaints about the company. However, I want to know just how bad off Sprint is right now. Should I steer clear of the company? I have been trying to get as much info on the Sprint situation as I can, and if it weren't for the family member recommending the company I wouldn't have even considered it based off of your posts. But as it stands, I want to know from current employees/customers, is going with Sprint at this time a g...

Go Home People

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/weather/02/06/tornadoes/i ... »

Not sure if you've seen the news about the tornadoes across the Southeast. That kind of weather is apparently still not enough to stop four people lining up before we opened.

It's not "I'm a first responder and need this to help rescue people." It's just the usual drivel of "mah fon nawt holden uh chawrg" or upgrades with them not knowing anything about what they want before coming in.

All that's fine, but at 9 a.m... on a day with weather like this?

W2's

So, it seems as though there was a glitch in the system and a lot of W2s were sent to old addresses instead of your current addresses. I am just wondering why they didn't send out any type of information that this happened to a lot of people?? This happened to a least 2 people in my store alone!!!

Pearl8130 Battery Life

Ok this is getting on my nerves, I let my battery charge all night, unplug it and then don't even use it. The battery is drained by 10pm that night and that's with out any usage. I know one post told me to download software to my computer and then sync my phone with the computer but I am not sure what he meant by that and why would that help?

Sprint bashed again

If there's one thing we'd like more than a Rumor with fixed firmware, it's a Rumor in green. Alright, that's a little bit of a stretch, but it looks like we're going to get one nonetheless; Sprint's latest Playbook is circulating among the ranks, revealing a supposed green Rumor dropping on February 17. The pink Centro we've heard so much about should be available on January 13 alongside a red version of the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, the first in-store appearance of the Sanyo S1 candybar, and a new iDEN piece in the form of the Motorola i570. Keeping the green Rumor company on the 17th of next month will be the Samsung m520 slider (yay?) and -- maybe most notably of the whole lot -- the Samsung Ace, Sprint's answer to the whole BlackJack craze....

Sprint ROKR?

Does anyone have any info if/when the Motorola ROKR is coming to sprint? Any of you reps know?

And yes, I've heard the whole argument that moto sucks and all that. IF that's what your gonna reply then don't bother because I like moto and a response like that doesn't help any.

Oh Snap! A Red Sanyo SCP-2500/S1

If Boost Mobile can deploy the Motorola W385, Kajeet a Red Samsung A640 and a Red LG LX150 and Qwest Wireless a Red Sanyo SCP-2500/S1, I would like to believe Sprint will be able to get their hands on the Red S1 soon.

Why bash sprint?

I don't get it. I live in ohio, i've been all over the east side of the country... alabama, florida, tennessee, kentucky, indiana, virginia, the carolinas... and i have always gotten a signal. I've dropped 1 call in the entire 1 1/2 years i've had Sprint and i was driving through the mountains in Tennesse, and the signal came back about 2 minutes later. the data services are better than anything other than an Iphone... the only problem is the customer service and billing issues, but those are all improving in front of our eyes. SO WHY ALL THE SPRINT BASHING!?!?!?!

Sprints billing is so confusing

I recently swapped out my Blackberry for a differant color. Sprint applied a 499 credit which always screws up my bill. Then they said they would deduct this 499 credit when I sent back my phone. I now have an additional 499 credit on my account so what the hell is going on, not that I mind having a 1000 credit but it always screws everything up.
