Sprint Was Nice On 611

I call customer care today because I am having issues with my paycheck to extend my due date until thursday of this week. They gladly did it.

Then, what shocked me, the guy says to me "Since you are a great customer, and pay your bill on time, im giving you a 70.00 credit." 😲 😲 😲 😲

I was amazed. 😁

Goes to show you, I really think sprint is starting to care about customers.....

Good Job!

Ouch. Sprint headed for terrible Q4 numbers!!!

Sprint's (S) woes intensified at year-end as mobile phone subscribers fled in mass. The flailing No.3 wireless shop is expected to report that it lost more than a half million customers in the fourth quarter, say analysts and industry watchers. Unlike other players feeling squeezed by competition, Sprint can't blame a softening economy for its steepening plunge. Rival AT&T (T) is expected to report blowout subscriber gains and No.2 Verizon Wireless -- co-owned by Verizon (VZ) and Vodafone (VOD) -- is likely to add another big win to its robust growth record.

In its third quarter, Sprint lost 337,000 subscribers, an alarming rate given the strength of the wireless market. But Sprint's losses have been a big gain for rivals.

tech question

because of recent situations where a cust has bogus problems with their OLD or NEW PDAs they get moved or more importantly UPGRADED to a new PDA. is there anywhere where we can see that WELL or exchange list for certain phones? that is without having to enter the ESN of the current model?

My Problem with Sprint

I have worked with sprint for the last 5 years, give or take a few months. In that time I take on average; 2-3, 2-3 hour calls a day, and I have a much easier time getting what I want to with sprint than the average customer. Well today's 2.5 hour call (my 2nd of the day) set it over the top. When the representative told me to get over what happened to my customer, I asked myself if the general public actually knew what sort of company this really is.

Besides the worst customer service (rated by consumer review magazine 4 years in a row), and some of the worst tower reception and, as documented fradulent bill charges around; I ask why do you stay with sprint? πŸ‘Ώ

Im trying to get a feel if corporate just screwed us royal in the corp. stores.

Sprint Agent

I see alot of post on this site and other sites talking about bad experiences with agents. Well I have a good experience that I would like to share.

I just picked up this phone and I went looking for a spare battery for the 755p. I walked into the Sprint store and asked if they had any in stock. The agent showed me the extended battery and then asked if I had the blue color. I answered with I have the green and I am with Verizon. (Verizon had no batteries and I needed to get one quickly. as I am leaving on a trip.) With no hesitation he said "Well I am glad to be able to help you". He said that they did not have any of the regular batteries in stock and said just one moment. He went into the back and came out with a battery. He asked to s...

Palm Centro or Moto Q 9?

I am looking to try Sprint next month and interested in what the experts think. I have an ancient Palm device but am open to trying out something new. I take some pictures, light Internet browsing/email, need good reception in Indianapolis, would be very unhappy if there were a lot of crashes and restarts. I have heard pros and cons of each. Do the store reps see more unhappy returns out of one more than the other? Thanks for any input.

Moto Q Problem Plz HELP!!

So my Q today decided that it didnt want to charge anymore! I have been charging it buy USB cable becuase I lost my charger along time ago but I have never had a problem with it charging unless it was already dead. So now what do I do?

My bill is past-due now by a few days and I only paid half of it becuase im sick of dealing with this phone..so is there any way that i can get a different phone or a quick fix. Becuase its dead now and i dont have any way to charge it and i dont think its fair for me to pay $50 for a replacement phone.

To tell the truth i dont even have the money to pay the other half at the moment but i still need a solution becuase i know ill get it paid soon

LG Rumor Firmware fix avaiable

Hi Everyone
It seems LG has fixed the Firmware problem for the Rumor. According to engadgetmobile.com the posting states it is available for downloading to the rumor by using the over the air update, which is in the main menu under settings at the bottom saying firmware update. I just did the update earlier today. It took about 10 to 15 minutes. So if you do the update try to do it when youΓƒΒ’Γ’β€šΒ¬β„’re not busy.

Sprint you just lost a 7 year customer

Wow. Is all I can say. my plan that I have had since 2003 just got changed with no warning whats so over by sprint. I went from free vision with text on both phones to 15 a month vision on each and no text. We had unlimited text on both and my wife is at 500 text messages that are now casual messages since we just noticed this change. We hav ecalled with no luck and told sprint can change the rates and so forth. I said your right but if I notify you within 30 days of the adverse change then I can cancel without the ETF. She said no you can't. I guess $60 a month is not a adverse change in her mind. We shall see how this plays out. But I rather pay 200 a month to verizon or alltel then do business with a company that works this way. Damn gr...

Sale stealing S.O.B.

So Saturday night I spoke with a customer about an aircard for his Desktop. The customer said he could only get Dial-up in his area so I checked his location to ensure he would have Data Coverage in his area turns out he was in the clear.

He said He wanted to discuss it with his wife and asked if I would be in the next day. I said I wouldn't be but I gave him my card and told him to bring it back and one of my co-workers would take care of him. He then asked me if I give them you card will you get credit for the sale. I replied yes.

Fast Forward to sunday morning the customer calls me and says he's on his way in I said OK there will be someone there to help you.

So I come in this morning expecting to have a new aircard in my name. ...

S.A.G FORMS AND CONTRACTS

OK IS IT JUST ME OR WOULD SOME OF US WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE S.A.G FORMS AND THE WRITTEN CONTRACTS TO BE DONE FOR, I HATE HAVING TO SIT THERE AND DO THESE FORMS AND LIKE WHAT DO THEY DO FOR ME AND THE CUSTOMERS I UNDERSTAND FROM THE COMPANIES VIEW BUT I REALLY THINK THAT SOMETIMES THEY SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES THAN RETAIL STORES HAVING TO FILL OUT PAPERS THAT MAKES NO SENSE IN FILLING OUT

Sprint Stock Question

By this is a serious post for those who actually have insight on Sprint stock, all you Verizon trolls and Sprint haters...piss off.

With Sprint's stock plummeting and the company floundering there are many people out there with Sprint stock and those thinking about buying because of how low it is. For those of you who know about stocks what would you recommend. Should those who hold Sprint stock sell while they have anything left to sell, or should they cross their fingers. Logic suggest that the stock is undervalued because Sprint has so many positive assets that no matter what happens Sprint won't disapear. The company has simply been mismanaged. Will Sprints stock go up or will it inconcievalbly even drop lower after 4Q are posted? If ...
