Treo 755p -- GPS -- Sprint Navigation

I had a customer come in with a Treo 755p that was running Sprint Navigation. He said a friend set it up for him and that he is on the Ultimate Package. Does anyone have details on how to do this?

I too have the 755p and the Ultimate package and was considering the RIM BB Pearl for the GPS but I have read that it does not do MMS, if anyone has additional information on that feature on the pearl that would be helpful also.

Thanks in advance!

MMS on Sprints BB 8130

Does anyone know if there is a patch/software that will add MMS or at least allow us to send pics/videos from the blackberry 8130 other than via email&bluetooth? Kinda kills me to realize that my new $500 BB handset has access to Sprint's Music&Tv services..GPS Nav and many other features but i can't send a pic, can someone help!

pix massages

why do the pix massages use internet time? why not do it where its attached to the message like on verizon? because on verizon and cinguler the picture massaging is included in the text plans but not on sprints.

International Roaming

A customer came into the store today looking to activate a PALM 700Wx for a couple of weeks only he wants to use it in JPN/TWN. He knew a lil about GSM and CDMA maybe as much as I knew and he heard he should be able to use it there. He mainly wanted it for email and web but I told him I doubt the data part f the phone will not work in that area. For further knowledge, what system does Japan use? Can our phones roam over there? We usually advise them to "RENT" phones we hear its cheaper than roaming with our phones. Any input is appreciated

To Palm Users

I have heard mixed reviews about palm... some people love it some hate it....anyways I am looking for a phone where I can access my schools website and pretty much do any work that may be done (answering questions htat may be posted etc)...was thinking about getting a handheld but didnt like the fact that it is not compatible to all bluetooth phones and bla bla bla.....so I was wondering what is the best Palm phone? I know a few people who have the Centro and they seem to like it. BAttery Life is a major concern for me!!!!!!! Thanks

New Samsung?

Anyone know whether a new slim Samsung phone is coming out? I went to the store wanting the m610 and found out it's been discontinued. The sales guy said they were going to be getting a new similar model soon (I desperately need to upgrade my a900.)

Any info on whether this is true and what the new model is going to be?

Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

Does Sprint Still Extend Your Contract If You Make A Change

I know when I had them before they use to extend my contract whenever I made a change in my plan. Do they still do that?

HELP! Any sprint corp reps/ internal people!

I have a dealer line. I have set up the online account. For some reason, my digital lounge feature NEVER works online anymore. I called customer support, and they claimed it was going to be fixed soon. Hasn't happened yet.

I need this fixed. Also, I got my first bill, and it claims that I have to pay 5 bucks a month for picture texting. I know it's included in the plan. What's going on? Why do I have minutes like a dealer, but features NOT like a dealer? Can someone explain the internal workings to me?

Also, I hate my Katana II. Well, hate is too strong, but I want a better "more capable" phone, but can't afford the extra for a blackberry. What's a good PDA alternative? We're looking for used/new on ebay for under 150. Thanks.

Keep my plan on old carrier after I switch to sprint?

I want to switch to sprint, as stated in a previous post. my question this time, after i switch my number from my old carrier to Sprint, can i still somehow keep my old carrier but just put a new number or something on the account?

yes i would have two cell phones, that sucks, but i want to keep the mobile to mobile with the rest of my family who isn't switching with me. Would I have to sign a new contract with my old carrier just to keep my old account running but under a new number, after i transfer my current number to sprint...that's my question. lol sorry if that was confusing.
