Sanyo M1

Does anybody know what happened to the Sanyo M1 that was supposed to be released in Oct? I have never seen it in a store, or on the website. Was it cancelled or postponed for some reason? I can't find any new info about it.

Sprint.com Account Access DOWN??

I haven't been able to logon to my account on sprint.com for about 10 days now. They've told me they're working on their systems, and it's affecting a lot of people. It would be nice if they put up a message stating this instead of the generic "System Unavailable" page.

Anyone else have this same problem? And anyone have any idea when it will be fixed? 10 days is ridiculous.

Sprint New Phones?

Why is Sprint at the end of the pack when it comes to getting new and worthy phones? If they would start contracting with LG and Nokia heck even Samsung they would have a better clientel.

towers

I've been with Sprint for almost a year now and I keep getting asked "how do I update my phone for the towers in this area?"

I don't think there is a tower update function for Sprint, or CDMA in general. Every time i get this question I just go to the settings menu and do 'Update Phone S/W'.

Someone Tell me I'm wrong and there is a way to update the towers in an area so I don't feel like a goof telling people this anymore.

If I remember right though there was at one point in the past a tower update function under TDMA and AMPS service if there still isn't one for Nextel.

Verizon PDA on Sprint?

My uncle has a Sprint Q but he thinks it is too big. He likes the Verizon PN-820.

Has anybody activated a Verizon PDA on Sprint yet? He doesn't need data services, by the way.

Store new activation trending, Hows yuur store doing ?

I am very concerned as of late about the amount of new activations sprint is pulling in, we are trending 83% of quota as a store this month and I dont think we have hit store quota in about 6 months, and sadly this seems to be the issue in our whole region !!!

Trully new activations seem to be getting harder and harder to come by, and we used to be one of the best in our area and we still have the same crew, but our traffic is terrible some days we wont have customers for hours at a time, and we used to be a high volume class B store,

I am wondering how other Stores are doing across the nation, is it just me or is Sprint doing less and less activations ?

Discount Code

I was given a discount code online that is:

MORE4U

On my last phone purchase. It claims that you can save $25 on your next phone (select models)

What select models are they?

I've tried to purchase a new plan/phone with this code and it doesn't work....(tried several different phones too)

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Is the upstage not compatible w/ SERO plans??

his my story. i got my friend a sero 500 min plan and she got a samsung 300. but she lost the phone and now she got an upstage. so today she told me that when she had called in to activate it, that they told her they could not keep her on SERO w/ that phone. so they set her up on a 200 basic plan,no web,no txt and told her everything would be the same.

so they kinda tricked and i am pissed now. is this true that u cant have an upstage on SERO? 👿

Voicemail uses minutes?

Random question. I never though much of it until now, but do calls to voicemail count against my "anytime" minutes on Sprint? Or does it qualify as a call to a Sprint phone, since it is my own number?

Dealer Line Issues

I am so fed up with Sprint right now. I don't know if my rep mis-informed me or Sprint screwed something up big time. From day one of my phone, I should have had the employee package. 3000 minutes and all the goodies. I was under the assumption that I was on that plan. Apparently I wasn't, and as soon as I figured that out, I called my rep to change it.

Well, I got my bill by text today, saying I owe 130 bucks, when in reality, it should have only been 30. I'm being charged $75 for internet usage, and 10 for telenav, (which I had taken off as soon as I got it. It's useless.).

Aren't we also supposed to get 20 dollar bill credit for ringers and games? Was I lied to? If so, my last two managers got a deal that I can't get anymore.

I'...

Roaming to non roaming ratio

Someone who lives in Maine was thinking of getting Sprint and was under the impression that even though the majority of the state was in the "grey zone" - meaning there is only roaming coverage that he would be OK.
His question further went on to ask if the rules for roaming apply universally to Voice and data/text:

Someone told him that you can roam as much as you want as long as your roaming minutes do not exceed your regular minutes.
Suppose you have 3000 roaming minutes, does that mean as long as you have 3001 regular minutes that it is OK?
True or not?

Voice only?
How is data treated?
