red flames of frustration and anger spewing (need a vacation basically)

just found out instead of transferring customers all day yesterday i was hanging up on them b/c nobody had a training session on new ubp release(softphone sucks yo). We've got 2 billing platforms 16,000 applications (exageration) all requiring their own passwords and nobody knows how to use any of them. On top of that in one of the programs I can get into if i attempt to transfer i will hang up on them so i have to give them a direct number (not suppose to do) and hope they contact somebody literate.... then! they take our sales away and put half of us in an outbound program where we are trying to resolve issues for customers who have called in 10 times or more in the last 3 months. these customers i've had conversations with are very civ...

EL ID

Have you ever heard of any issues regarding EL ID's for Sprint reps?

I am not taking calls for almost three months now since I entered lab because I can't pull up ensemble. It's a system EL ID problem.

I think I'm gonna move to another company because of this.

minutes of use and the ongoing arguement

thank you for release 5 of ubp but could someone please educ me which path, button, screen to look at to 100% customers minutes of use out of the anytime minutes on their plan

(for the customers that read this: we currently have 5 different way to look up this information and it's all portrayed differently in each screen, please excuse me as I want to take this to an open venue and not the douche bags i work with)

SERO Expired

Have they closed the SERO plans to eveyone. I was told that if you went there and then typed in savings@sprint.com that you could be eligible. It said it was no longer available. Too bad, I wanted to come over to sprint from VZW.

SERO and Roaming

Do the SERO plans include roaming?

If not how much is it a minute to roam?

On the website roaming isn't really mentioned other than some features may not be available while roaming.

Existing customer out of contract and Sero

Hi,

My sprint contract has recently run out and I've been looking into alternative carriers and whatnot to make sure I am not overpaying.

SERO seems like it would be the most cost efficient plan for me.

Would I be able to call the retentions department and explain my circumstances to get on the SERO plan? Would I be able to port my number?

Thanks in advance!

Rev.A, Blackberry, Moto Q9c updates

Here's some more info for things to come for Sprint. Rev. A will not only introduce the Nextel Direct connect to the cdma side, but also video telephony. The Pearl will not be released on the 4th as previously thought it will be released on the 23rd along with the Moto Q9c. The CDMA Blackberry Curve will be coming out in Q1 2008 as will the Treo 800wx. There are no Blackberries with CDMA/Wifi calling because "RIm only makes 3g Blackberries for CDMA so there is no need for it." There is a software update for the Mogul out today that fixes the bluetooth issues and some other quirks. Both the Mogul and Touch will see a Rev. A update in Q1 2008 that will enable the GPS features on the HTC touch at least. The Rev A handsets due in Q1 are: lx400, ...

Domestic versus Nationwide Long Distance

A dumb question probably, but what's the difference?

Does 'domestic' mean in-state long distance only or something like that?

Why do some Sprint plans list "Domestic long distance" and others list "Unlimited Nationwide long distance"? Is the domestic long distance limited somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Changing my phone number.

I'm a recent Sprint customer. I got a phone and then a couple of weeks later ported my old phone number from AT&T. However my phone still displays my old number and everytime I click to dail voicemail it dails my original number. How do I change that number? My phone is a Palm Treo 700wp.

Dear SERO customers

please stop emailing in and asking for free things like the first incoming minute free, or nights and weekends starting at 6pm.

We will not give you these things as SERO customers are not eligible for any special offers or promotions.

Please keep in mind you are also not eligible for the referral program as you were already referred by an employee. And you do not qualify for Corporate or Government discounts as you already get service at a discounted rate.

Thats my rant please stop telling these people other wise.

How Many People Do Powersource Phones Cover?

Just wondering if anyone has that info? Can't find that info on Sprint's website. Only iDEN and PCS coverage, separately.

Thanks in advance!

I heard some time ago that Sprint is getting the BJ...not the BJ 2 but BJ 1. If this is true then when will it be released? Early 2008 maybe? 😕
