A favor to those in Customer Care

I want to join in on the rant too. 😛-from a tier 1 tech support agent.
1. Before u xfr to tech support plz make sure the cust is off the phone customers hate waiting 30 mins on the line and then being told to call back when they have another line.
2.Prl updates do not fix drop call issues!! do not xfr promising better siganl with the prl update.
3.Plz note the accounts so that the cust doesnt get mad at us cuz we dont know whats their issue and are forced to repeat themselves.
4.plz tell the customer ur xfring him/her before u do so. i get a lot of confused customers that say, "i was just taking to a rep who are u?"
5.we are not escalations dont send ur supervisor calls to us grrr!! 👿

My Sprint Review

Not that anyone cares but I will post my review. It has been 3 weeks since I switched over to Sprint and I have to say that I have been impressed. Coverage and call clarity has been great. EVDO coverage has been top notch while watching Sprint TV and streaming music. I have had VCast and Cingular Video and Sprint TV has been a much better experience. The video has not been choppy, the speech & video are always in sync, and it never has taken more than about 10 seconds to launch the videos. My experience with customer service has been interesting. My first phone call to them was not the best experience. I think the main problem was communication because I think the rep was from overseas. My last three calls all went off without a hit...

Sprint "Leaked" Roadmap for the rest of 2007/q108

Via: Phone News

Here we go with the leaked product roadmaps again. It’s great when the carrier actually leaks this kind of information, because it tends to be fairly accurate (assuming this is all legit, of course). Phone News‘ sources are saying that the upcoming product roadmap for the rest of 2007 and part of 2008 will cement Sprint position as the carrier with the largest smartphone offering of any carrier in the US.

Of the more notable product releases are the HTC Vogue (CDMA variant of the HTC Touch) that we confirmed on Sprint as the Sprint Touch - slated for a November 4 release. The BlackBerry 8130 Pearl 2 should be bringing Media Player and Sprint Music Store support (the first multimedia BlackBerry on Sprint net...

What should I do???

Ok, well I just moved to a remote city in tennessee it is called Etowah so I could be closer to my son that attends McCallie Boarding School. My problem is that he only recieves 1 bar of signal on his Treo 755p outside, and inside it is a complete dead spot so he switches it to roam which then he gets full coverage because the Verizon tower is practically right across the street. What should I do to improve coverage inside my house? I have heard about the Airave thing, but it is only available in select markets. I was wondering if I called a Sprint store in those select market if the would ship me one provided that I paid all of the expenses? If they would not, what other way could I possible gain coverage in my house???

Thank for ...

A favor to those in call centers

Could you make my job easier and do the customers a favor?

When telling the customer who has a problem with their plan or a swap from an online or telesales purchase, please do not tell them to go into any Sprint store and they'll be able to fix it.
Not all stores are backed on the billing system or accept online returns. If there is a store locater available to you, please send these customers to the locations that start with "store #". If someone comes into my store with a problem like this I seriously cannot do anything (as much as I would like to) and it irritates the customer and makes me look bad.

Thank you -Drake

a favor to those in sprint stores

OH! please stop calling in for the customer regarding special offers and then saying "Hey can I get this too?" No... you're an employee you have to wait to get the same flyer or email or sms if you have an account with us like a customer. If you have an employee discount or sero plan we usually cannot offer it to you. please learn to cope...
