So I just had an interesting conversation with my friend and I bring this question because I'm simply dumbfounded. My friend had Nextel, came to end of contract, and went to upgrade. She upgraded to a Hybrid phone and here's my confusion, the man at the store made her change her number, or it would cost her an additional $35 to keep hers. She took the new number, no huge deal, but why does an upgrading customer have to pay to keep their number? Does it have something to do with her getting a Hybrid phone? Or was this guy just crazy?

After nearly 3 years working for Sprint, i am bowing out. Ive been a Tier-1 Tech, a Team Supervisor, and a Tier-1 Tech Trainer. Honestly, ive had a blast.

But, duty calls, and the need for a better paying job has taken priority over my love for my profession. Got a wife & a kid: gotta provide for the family.

I may continue to comment here & there, but my presence in this forum will more or less be non-existant, as my new job will have NOTHING to do with the mobile industry.

Which phone takes the kake..? All have great perks..all are very pretty...and all lack something...Apple + screen resolution and multitouch but no 3g. HTC Win mobile pro and touchflo...but bad screen resolution...LG great phone looks great 5.0 cam with flash..dumb UI...

I saw a video on YouTube where this guy had the Iphone interface on his Mogul. It was all touchscreen just like the Iphone, anyone know how thats possible? Thanks in advance 😉

ya ya I'm probably going to get bashed for this but really, sprint may be "ahead" on function and may be favored in the business world. but i think ( here comes the bashing) that sprint is not ahead of form factor and style. i feel that sprint is last in that race. i just think that sprint should start expanding their horizon and start looking at the phone it's self. you can't just sell and great functioning phone but with a crappy design, its like selling...selling a TV. with the greatest hd capability and the greatest sound system but with a 3 inch screen. look all I'm saying is maybe sprint should balance their priorities.

I was working when a call comes in , there was this guy that said, i want to cancel, so a a rutine,i ask him why he want to cancel so he said , im going to said it in 2 words, I Phone, i laught at that moment ( turn on the mute). Then said customer , lok i can offer this for you to stay, i can gave you free, the mogul also i can gave you a 15 % mrc disscount monthly for the next year, also this way you wouldnt pay the etf of 200 dlls. And he sai, but the iphone is the best phone that mogul cant compete with it, just said me were the mogul is better, so i strt to list the pros, customer then said no thats not tru iphone is better the only think i dont like for it is the layout to type nut thats not a problem, then he said, only to see an app...

How is the Moto KRZR on Sprint? I had Verizon's and it sucked big time!!! But thats because of Verizon's horrible software.

In two days...apple sold 525,000 of a product sold in a 48hour is impressive..especially the product being 600 with a contract at that. CD's usually cell that in a week...and their a fraction of the price. 50% of that being ports from other carriers...now sprints response is Sprint ahead...instead of together with nextel...? thats all thats in the works...?

I was wondering if sprint has detailed billing available like everyone else. I love my detailed billing with at&t!!!! Thanks

has anyone had any success recently setting up readylink? I've had three accounts that wanted to use it but never could get it to work right, if at all. I'm one even talking about it ... it's not worth the chargebacks...

I'm just throughly amazed!!! Short story I want data and I'm currently with verizon on their family plan 1400 minutes for 89.99...now if I want data through verizon on two lines it will cost me 90.00 bucks 😳 😳 so I went to the ATT store and temporarily fell in love with their BB Curve data for two lines 60 bucks! better but after farther research come to find out it's on a edge network and even the in store call quality was not that great.

So I went to the Sprint store this morning and was greeted by a friendly sales rep, and I preceded to tell him what I wanted...he grab a pamphlet and guided me to the Treo 755p and began to show me all of its bad assness with a 20 data plan that include Google Maps, plus GPS enabled!!

So do I have...

I heard that Sprint is releasing several new phones on july 15th, Is this true? (they really need some new phones that are good) And what hpones would they be getting??

I am thinking about switching from Verizon to Sprint because I want to get the treo 755p and I hear their data plan is cheaper. I like Verizon(good coverage, good customer service) so I am torn.

Does anyone have an opinion? Should I or shouldn't I?

I can choose between the Moto Q, Sanyo M1, Samsung M610 or Upstage, and Blackberry 8703e.

i don't want the katana, RAZR, Fusic, or M510. and I think the Treo is out of my price range.


Any opinions on any of them?

I really want a camera, but the BlackBerry's reliability and image is keeping it an option.

the M1 and M610's 2MP cameras are giving them bonus points, while Smartphones are preferred because I am likely to go into B2B soon.....

Also i was wondering if the ring volume was going to better and louder than on the original katana? i had the katana for 1 day i returned it because the speakerphone and the ring volume was horrible.
