Is Sprint getting any new cool phones in? Preferably a cool slider?

I currently have the Upstage, and I REALLY don't like it that much. I always have to have the latest and greatest, so I'm going to keep it until Sprint gets a NEW high end phone in. Anyone know if they're getting any in? Oh, and the Muziq doesn't look all that high end...

A couple of Questions

I was just wondering if anybody had any recent updates on the following:

1) When is the first Rev-A capable phone coming out(non-pda)?

2) And is Sprint still going to release Q-chat?

Thanks

Where is Sprint headed??

With the new revelation of the Sprint customer service issues (axing customers?), what direction is Sprint heading? I have Sprint and really enjoy their cell phone service. Their customer service is good at times, depending on who you talk to. I have never heard of a company doing this so what are they thinking? Also is Sprint doing anything to attract new customers instead of constantly having the highest churn in the industry and losing customers every quarter.

Last but not least, is Sprint in any way going to go bankrupt or out of business with this whole merger and losing customers? I have not heard any rumors of this but I am just wondering?

Thanks.

wma vs mp3

I was tring to figure out what phone to get and i came to the sanyo 8400 and the fusic. I think the 8400 only supports mp3 and the fusic supports wma. If i had it as wma rather then mp3 cant i double how many songs i have on my phone is that true. If it is isnt it better to have?

Welcome Dept

If any of you have been activated through Sprint's new ensemble billing system, and you receive a call from Sprint, most likely it's Sprint's new Welcome department. Just making sure every things is what you asked for on your plan and of coarse welcoming you to Sprint. In some cases the new phone may not work until you've reached the welcome department. For 3rd party Sprint retailers, here's a number just in case your customer comes back and state my services are not going through. It's the direct line for the Welcome department. 18663300802. They'll be able to assist. I wish all of Sprint's customer service was through the Welcome department, because every call I've had with them are extremely nice. I was shocked. lol.

So, I have decided to go camping this weekend....

...because I am convinced the iPhone is really a maniacal mind control device created by Steve Jobs to do the bidding of Apple. I don't want to be near ANY major populace at 6:00 tonight.

And in case the iPhone toting Mac zombies make it to the mountains, I'm bringing my 12 gauge shotgun and plenty of heavy load shells.... ๐Ÿ‘€

Confused

So I just had an interesting conversation with my friend and I bring this question because I'm simply dumbfounded. My friend had Nextel, came to end of contract, and went to upgrade. She upgraded to a Hybrid phone and here's my confusion, the man at the store made her change her number, or it would cost her an additional $35 to keep hers. She took the new number, no huge deal, but why does an upgrading customer have to pay to keep their number? Does it have something to do with her getting a Hybrid phone? Or was this guy just crazy?

Thanks.
