If Sprint does not buy Alltell?

If Sprint is not able to buy or merge with Alltell is there any possibility that they could merge or buy out US Cellular or another smaller company. In Chicago Sprint and US Cellular a very good as far as call quality but I am not sure about any other states. I was just curious if this would help sprint in any way.

Sero plan

On the SERO plan, they claim unlimited email. On a device like treo 700p, could some one clarify, is that Sprint Business Connection, or you have to down load a program like versamail or chattermail to get unlimited email ?

Also it seems they are charging for text messages at 0.15 c per msg, so you have to get a txt msg plan, which is not included on the sero plan.

out with the old, in with the new...

River City Ransom, here. as youve noticed, ive changed my name. reason being is that 'River City Ransom' was the name of my former band. we split up cuz our guitarist started doing crack. totally uncool. so, the name no longer fits. i like the new one better anyways. im still me though. just wanted the regulars to know.

Sprint's Official Online Forum

Hey all,

I'm just curious how many of you have checked out Sprint's official on-line forum and what you think about it. If you're not aware, the website is at:

http://www.buzzaboutwireless.com/cms/ »

Seems like a good idea from the outset, and if Sprint actually makes good on their promises of how they'll moderate the forum and be an active participant, it may be something that other carriers will follow suit with ;).

Flair

🙄

How much flair must you wear in your retail locations? We now have to wear lanyards with ads in them. I feel like Jennifer Aniston on Office Space! They look ridiculous!

unnecessary fees

i was just wondering if we were the only company to charge a 36 dollar upgrade fee when a customer pays full price for a phone. and how is a good way to explain this fee to customers? i personally think the fee should be waved when full price is paid for a phone.

CDMA roaming

I apologize in advance for this question, but I have to ask it.

When I went in to look at the ic402 & ic502 hybrid phones, the local Sprint-Nextel dealer stated that the new hybrid "ic###" phones roam on Verizon's CDMA network, so that with Sprint's & Verizon's CDMA networks combined, the cellular coverage & sound quality are the best available. I know the PTT portion of the hybrids is limited to Nextel's iDEN network, but I was surprised by the statement that for CDMA voice calls Sprint roams on Verizon. True or false?

Thanks, and again I apologize if this is a stupid question.
