Wireless Broadband

Im looking into getting a wireless broadband card for my job when I travel. But before I do this I have a few question. In my area Traverse City, Michigan (49684) there is no EVDO coverage yet. Will it still work?? Also will I have coverage in a digital roaming partner such as Alltel who is the roaming partner in Norther Michigan?? Finally, which is a good card to go with. I looked at the new slim card (EX720) but that will not work with my laptop since it does not have that newer sized slot, just the Type II PCMCIA. Which one would be a high end PCMCIA card to go with?

Thanks!

Fewest Dropped Calls in Chicago

This is always a debatable topic but does anyone have any information on who truly has the fewest dropped calls in chicago. I see billboards for T-mobile that say they have the fewest dropped calls in Chicago. It is hard to believe because their network is not that great. Also Cingular claims they have the fewest dropped calls, but I hear that in Chicago Cingular phones drop calls all the time. I had a Verizon Phone and had nothing but dropped calls and no signal in places in Chicago.

I am a Sprint user and rarely have a dropped call in the Chicago area or suburbs. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced who has a fair number of dropped calls in the Chicago Area.

fourtwentyandone...............LIAR!!!!!!!!! check this junglemassive.

"like i have said before everyone that ever calls the cs reps knows when they have a good rep and when they have an idiot if you get a rep who takes forever to answer the question you asked him then he is an idiot or maybe you got me and i was still high "

As quoted from the thread in the Cingular forum titled "Is this what Cingular is like for civilians?". Any one can look into your previous posts. You are a liar and a tool. Peace LOSER.

EVDO

Wow sprint has turned on EVDO in my little town called havelcok. Looks like they expanded greatly in NC. I don't know how large of an area it now covers but all along Hyw 70 from kinston to morehead it shows EVDO.

Treo 700p/700wx update?

A series of unfortunate events led to an unscheduled (and unfair in my opinion) showdown between my washer and phone. As the phone was on the losing end of said showdown and is now on its last legs I am in the unenviable position of upgrading. The only thing that would upset me more would be to upgrade to a phone that is getting re-vamped in the next month.

As such, does anyone know if the Treos are getting a makeover to internal antennas and Windows mobile 6 on the wx anytime soon?

Thanks.

NeWsFLasH ! !

👀 👀 😳 😳 👀

NOW what are they thinking at Sprint/Nextel HQ?? Today, we received notice that the ASM (Assitant Store Manager) position was eliminated!! In our district we have 13 ASMs and of them only 3 were given the chance to stay. Our ASM was one of the 3.... she chose to stay, so as of March 1st, her title goes to LCC...My question is, What else is going to happen?????

Nintendo Emulator for Windows Mobile

okay so maybe the wrong forum to post, but a customer came into the store while I was at lunch today, my co-worker said that a guy with a Treo 700wx had a Nintendo Emulator similiar to Nesticle on his phone. I know I should do my own research and plan to tonight, but anyone know off the top of their heads about this? My proxy here at works prevents my vital research.

**ESN TRANSFER?**

If I want to buy a phone off ebay, what is the procedure for acquiring the ESN? Would the previous owner have to do a liability transfer or similar?

How do i know if the ESN is clear?
