Phones will be sold starting tomorrow in Cali. My verizon contact sent me an e-mail with a flyer for the Samsung 610. If anyone would like me to send it to them, let me know by 5pm pst. The phones will be $229.00 with a $50.00 mail in rebate. 😁

Does it matter if you have National Access on this phone or the Audiovox CDM8900 w/ VZW. neither one of these two phone have it, but all the other phones offered by VZW have National Access.

Ok..I have the timeport. Yes a very old phone but it still works great besides the battery. People are talking up the a610 on the forum but on the v810 forum people are saying to wait until the v810 comes out. How many people are wait?

In the northeast area: This phone WILL be avail in stores on Feb 10th. The 2 year contract price WILL BE $229.99 with NO REBATE as of yet. The screen IS 64k. I am going to buy this phone next week. It has the best talk time of any color phone (4 hours) due to a 1300mah battery, but the phone is still only 4.23oz ! I say go for it ! Launch date for CDM-9900 and Mot V-810 is still uncertain, so why wait ? (unless you want to wait for the rebate to come out in a month). I'll keep ya'll posted.

Also it said the phone is SPEAKER independent!! Whatever that means

I saw in another forum that the non-contract
price was in the Verizon computer as $289 and
still planing on 2/10.

I work for Verizon, and posted a message a few days ago saying that the 610 comes out on tues feb 10. People on here asked me how solid that date was. Well I am holding the 610 right now!!! (well not really holding it b/c then i couldn't type, but you get the idea). It is very cool. The clarity is unreal. I'll have to play around with it a little more, but so far it looks killer!!

If you call the 800# they know of the phone and they tell you they have it. But cant sell till the 10th!!
