I called Verizon 1866-256-4646*

They said the display is 262 colors not 65k
Also the guys said it has a SPEAKERPHONE. I asked him to confirm this because i never saw it anywhere saying speakerphone. He put me on hold and he read it direct from it description form. HE CONFIRMED IT with main boss. And he confirmed february 10 is he day set in stone.

I dont know if he was wrong but he sounded very convinced that i was the one wrong.

I work at radioshack and just spoke with my verizon rep yesterday. He told me that we are getting the the A610 this month. When I asked about the V810 and A670 and A690, he said they would not be out till spring, my guess is probably april for the V810 and A690. I've heard rumors that the A670 and LG vx7000 will have camcorder. Can anyone confirm this? If they do, my bet is they will hit around July, so verizon can keep a high price on still camera phones for a few months. If they start releasing camcorders too early, there will be no interest in the re-released 8900, the A610, or the V810. Also, anyone have any idea what verizon pricing will be for video mail service? and what phones will be capable of recieving vids?

Finally......hey phone tech if you see this whats your take.....v810 or A610

The 610 came to stores today, won't be sold for a week, trust me i saw them. and like i said before they are going to go for $229.99

Is this phone going to be out on FEB 10? Anyone know. Im dieing i have a # with nextal i want to port and cant till a decent phone comes out that im gonna like. I ried the Audiovox 8900 and it stunk!!

Actually the # port option strecthed out passed the TOP 100 a few days ago. Im in Connecticut and it was no able to Be ported because it wasnt in the TOP 100. But as of a few dyas ago its now portable.

When this bad boy coming out imm dieing!!

I saw this phone in a direct retail store today. It was very much not was i was expecting. It was much better. This is more of a mans phone(sorry ladies). It's a little bigger than it would seem from the pictures and the forum has described. But to answer everyones ultimate question, It is very sturdy and the flip is silver on the outside. It is a pimpin phone and i expect everyone to buy themselves on and their cousin T.J. from florida.
I didn't get an answer on the price though because it hasn't been released yet that it may change but my earlier estimate was very close is what the store rep told me... I could list out what i estimated again but that is in another column by me and i would rather have you look.
I will definetely buy this...

Does anyone know how well reliable this phone is? Does the Korean counterpart have issues? I don't want to be buying a phone and later find out that the entire line were lemons.

I imagine that the price will be 199 on 1 yr contract and 149 on 2 yr contract. This will be the phone for about 3 months until more come out so this should be about the pricing on it. Mark my words. on this day this should be the pricing it will retail around 349 as well. But we will see Mid feb (hopefully)

This phone is not better than th vx6000, no phone for verizon is as of yet. And theres no way there gonna make the A610 a phone that is so outdated more expensive.....With contract over 200 but with im lookin at 180 before a $30 rebate, or even less

The 610 launches on Feb. 10. The price is $229 with a $50 rebate. I work for Verizon and have been waiting for this phone to come out since about September but VZW is so picky about their software that it kept getting pushed back. Let me know if you have any questions.
