LG VX-8000

🙂 when does this come out?

First off, I thought about not posting at all, but I know many of you are as anxious as I was, so my purpose is to try and fill in some of the rumors with facts.

I don't know when the phone will be released. I do not work for LG or Verizon. I was the one who ended up purchasing the phone that was previously listed on eBay. My understanding is that auction was stopped by eBay because the seller's listing violated policy, by listing other phone brands in the title. I ended up purchasing it directly from the seller.

It arrived on Friday, but I was out of town, so I just received it this afternoon. I was not able to activate the 8000 online, so I called Verizon. They knew it was an 8000 by the ESN, but could not activate it either. ...

Has anyone ever heard of upcoming LG VX-8100? Now, the most exciting part of the news is that 8100 version will have Bluetooth. 😁 Follow-up questions: when is it cumming out? What will the price be like? Is it tri-mode? No, it's still dual. 😁

Alright news flash to all you guys that dont know. many people have successfully put 'tunes' on their 8000's via usb cable/qpst. it's really tight. you can play mp3's from your phone when its closed. i love it. and you can play it loudly too!!

For those people who have been fortunate to actually own an 8000, how has the picture quality turned out?

has anyone noticed that this phone isnt very attractive? i mean yeah it's got a lot of features but i really think its not the phone i would want, any comments about that?

I was just wondering if anyone knew the price of the LG VX 8000 at full retail price??I am a Verizon customer and have the 6000. I really want to upgrade.

I keep hearing about infomanager but dont know where to find it,can anyone help?

I have been waiting for this phone just like everyone else, but I am getting impatient an am looking for a way to aquire one. If anyone has one that they want to sell (not for an outragous price) I very much may be interested or if anyone knows of how to obtain one another way.

Hi all, I know many of you have gotten hold of an 8000 to test and was wondering if you thought it was the righ toption to upgrade from the vx-4400. I don't need all the bells and whistles b/c I won't be paying for the service to download clips etc. But as far as quality, battery life, value etc is this the way to go or would you recommend the v265 instead? I was dumb and let the 9900 slip through my hands during the promo so am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. Thank you for your time and guidance.

Ok, did anyone else notice that they cant save the streaming video clips anymore? Or am I going insane. I was trying to save a Jim Carrey clip and I couldnt find the save button where I usually do.

It seems the VX8000 may have a software glitch that makes it reboot often. Has anyone who has the phone had this problem? Please tell me it is just a rumor 😢

I've checked, this question was asked a couple of times and still no response. Does the VX8K have the driving mode feature that the VX6100 and VX4500 have, or what's the deal?
