everyone keeps telling me that the car charger for the chocolate will work for the env. is this true?

My hands-free in my car on occasion when I make a call "transfers the voice to the handset". If I hang up and call again it works normally.

Not sure why it is happening or how to prevent it.

Any ideas?

4GB microSD now exists (although you can't buy it yet), but it's a new format that supposedly won't work with most existing phones. Does anyone know if the enV will be able to support it?

I just upgraded to the enV a couple of days ago and I LOVE IT!!!!!
I had the VX8000 before and this phone is so sweet!

But I did have a couple of issues with it that I was hoping that maybe someone could answer:
1) I charged my phone on Wednesday night fully. I used the phone on Thursday, but forgot to charge it Thursday night. On Friday, when I woke up, it had 3 bars for the battery indicator. But by evening, the phone had shut itself off. The cause was that the battery was dead. I am in an area with full signal (both 1X and EVDO) and I didn't use the phone that much. Any ideas why the phone died so quickly? I could use my VX8000 for between 2 - 4 days without having to recharge.

2) I purchased the 4GB memor...

I was wondering if you guys think verizon would give me hassle on getting a replacement phone..they are just minor things but they bug the hell out of me

1. The P button does not work sometimes
2. The OK button does not light up anymore
3. Both the main screen and front screen freeze up for about 10-15 seconds sometimes
4. the phone will restart it self (although it hasnt done that in a while)

I have been trying to put movies on my LG enV and everyone says after u have converted the file just drop it in your My_Flix folder on your memory card. Where exsactly is that?? I've been trying to find it but can't find it 🤭. Please Help!?!?!?

the title of the thread says it all. worst thing about the phone is lousy documentation. you have to figure out virtually everything by yourself. there is no additional material available on line in a collected way other than copies of the same incomplete and poorly organized manuals that come with the phone. I had to call LG to figure out which was the back button for the browser.

I read several threads about microSD cards here with people saying they had tried different camera resolutions, so I'm hoping somebody who figured out how to change it is reading and can tell me.

Okay. I have LG Download working, but when I try to go into NV Edit, I am asked for a Service Code. Anyone have any idea what the program is asking for?

If you are using your phone in an area that has poor or no evdo network...or you have no real use for evdo you can disable it. Whith phone open press ok>0>000000>go to network select>mode preferences> select 1x only...to change back just follow directions and select the original setting. This will save on your battery because the phone will no longer be using its power to try to find the evdo network. Trust me it works I did it to my wifes phone(wich due to her being a pwr txter(lol) she wld kill her battery by like 6pm...now she still has 2 bars left by midnight.

Has any one else notice that you can now save you music videos that you bought through Verizon. You save them through the "Filesystem" option in Bitpim. They will play in Media Player on your computer. You can them convert them using SUPER and add them to your memory card. That way, the are not taking up room on your phone. You can delete the file on your phone.

Is there a way to make a shortcut for the gps navigator? you can set shortcut keys for almost everything else...

i just got a Kingston 2GB Micro SD card. I installed it and it works fine except that it is SO SLOW!

It refreshes pics in the index at about 1 per second. I cant press any buttons until that happens. Does anyone know if this is normal and how i can improve speed of the card? Thanks
