LG enV VX-9900

2 gig card purchased at a VZW store.

Software flash was done on memorial day.

I let the phone create the folders on the card and I copy and paste about 30+ mp3s over onto the card. (non-DRM MP3s I made myself with 192kbs encoding.)

So with like 30+ Mp3s in the on the card in the "my music" folder only 14 songs show up. When I go to "my music" under "music and tones" on the phone, but when I go to manage memory the songs show up in the memory.

I thought that was weird so I then put 20+ different songs on the card all copied over from MP3s and put into the "my music" folder.

Again, only 14 songs show up...

I was having issues w/my enV, so the store exchanged it for another one. I noticed that the speakers next to the screen has changed a little from my previous one.(there's little blk. pieces in the upper corner) Is there any difference between them?

looks like the enV Orange is on the website now!

But I had a question about Bluetooth. When I looked at VZW's website for the supported Bluetooth profiles, the only profile that the enV does not support is PAN. Additionally, only two of the 13 PDA phones on the PDA bluetooth sheet support it too. So my question is, in what way is Bluetooth restricted? If the phone can support file movement (FTP), then can't you transfer pix and songs to it over bluetooth? (I thought file transfer was a crippled feature).

Also, I didn't see a feature called "OBEX" (Object Exchange). I'm not sure if that's a profile or just a service on my HP iPaq PocketPC (which allows you to send files to the device wirelessly).

Is there any way to send a group of pictures instead of one at a time?

I just wanted some feed back on a good working bluetooth headset for this phone? I am in the Market for one so any feed back would be appreciated!

using inside screen when i try to edit a word, the arrow keys cause the cursor to move by whole word rather than character - this makes it quite annoying to correct a typo etc -

how do i prevent it from doing this?

When I first started using the phone I was a bit annoyed that every time I wanted to check and see the time or if I had received a text message I would have to first push the OK button and then push it again at the "keyguard" screen. Not much work I know, but I like to be able to peek at it from my pocket discreetly and easily. Anyways, I finally was able to get the external display to stay dimmed but lit so that I could see the screen at all times. Then I turned off my phone today and when I turned it back on the screen would go completely black after 30 secs (the max time under options) just like when I first got it. So my question is, Is there anyway to set it to stay on all the time? Or was this just some glitch that was reset after I sh...

Hi,

I recently purchased the LG enV, and I am unable to find a way to keep the front screen on when I am not actively using the phone. With my old phones I could use my phone as a watch, but now I have to turn it on just to see the time.

Is there a setting I can change to bring back the clock feature?

okay so basically i have the RAZR now.
I have had it since about Mid-July.
So, i just recently got the VIP program & i have all qualifications so i had three questions:

1. What would be the cost of the enV with this VIP status thing?
2. Would this VIP price be cheaper if i just waited a year and got 25% off?
3. Is there anyway when upgrading to the enV with the VIP to change my plan to the Unlimited Messaging option?

I had the LG rep in my store friday and he mentioned that within the next 3-5 weeks Verizon will re release a new LG En V in Orange with full BTooth capability. I dont know the truth to this because i do NOT see anything floating around internally or on the internet. Just something to stir some noise up with. HOPEFULLY ITS TRUE the entire phone should be colored orange and full BT options. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it be true 🤤

I am going to sell my LG ENV 9900 and go back to something slimmer. It is in great shape and I have a car charger for it.

Has anyone used or scene the silicone cses that verizon is selling? If so how do they effect the use of te keys? How durable do they seam? Just lloking at some options because my plastic snap on case broke today. Thanks in advance for the help....

does anyone else have a problem with the cheap "travel charger" that came with the enV? As of lately I've noticed that my phone no longer charges completely, and I realized after having my phone die so many times, that my charger has a short in it somewhere. if its bumped while charging, the charging will stop...resulting in a dead battery halfway through the day.

Does anyone know of an actual DOCK that the enV can be placed on to charge, instead of having just the plug in type of charger???

I've looked all over the net and can't find anything for the 9900 as far as docking chargers go...but if anyone has ANY information on them, that would be great!!

I've been using my new enV for about a week adn have a couple of questions. I know the speakerphone only works when the lid is open... if I'm getting my voicemail while using the speakerphone... where are the # or * keys on this inside keyboard which you need to press sometimes in the voicemail menu's?

From what I've read there is no way to make the clock on the outside screen any larger.. is this true?

When using VZNavigator.. the volume for the voice giving you directions is low... I know I can press the buttons on the outside of the phone and max-it-out... but it's still kind of quiet... any "tricks" for this?
