Any tricks on the LG EnV-9900???

I've just purchased the phone and the only 2 tricks I found so far were the message reading and the phone call reading (when some one calls it tells you who calls)...however are there any other tricks??? And is there a way to get free ringtones?

Thanks... ๐Ÿ™‚

What is the correct way to upload photos?

Up until now, I have been using bitpim to upload photos from my enV to my computer. But, as of the new firmware upgrade, bitpim no longer works. Yes, I know I can use LGDownload to access the filesystem, but that's a tedious extra step. There must be a simple built in solution for getting your photos from your phone to your computer over the data cable. Is there? It seems funny to me that they let you access your music that way, but not your photos, as far as I can tell.

Loss of Service

I have only had this phone a couple of weeks now. I have noticed that when ever I'm out of service range I get a nice voice that says "Loss of Service". Would anyone know how to get that to stop. I've looked everywhere I could think of and I cant seem to find it.

Thanks, Smiles

Water Damage??

I took the battery off of my enV the other day..had it a few weeks and was just checking it out and looked at the water indicators....found that the one on my battery is very small with lots of very small very light pink x's...and the one on the phone is larger with larger darker pink/purple x's that look as though they have bled a little.....is this normal or did my phone some how get water on it from rain? It have never been submerged or anything and am worried what this means...THANK YOU!

Few Questions

Hi I have just a few questions. First how many text/pic messages will these hold. A friend of mine has the old version of this and his will hold a whole bunch. Right now its up to 120 in and 60 out. mine is lucky to get 50 each when it tells me i have no mem left.....Second when listening to music does anyone have an equilizer on there screen so you can adjust the levels in the music. Again the same friend as above has one on the his phone.
I think thats all I can think of at this time.

Thanks, Smiles

Calendar and To Do functions

I really don't need a Smartphone with all the extras that entails. But I sure would like an easy way to keep my calendar and a to do list on my 9900. The built in calendar just seems too awkward to use. Too many steps. I tried keeping a to do list on the notes but again, too time consuming.

Any ideas? Any programs you know I can download to help me with this? Anyone figured out an easier way to do this? Thanks for your help.

Internet downloading

My friend just bought a new lg env who is not too keen on technology. One problem he is having is that he cannot download pictures that he wants while surfing the internet. I tried myself but i could not find out how to download pics from websites. Is there a way to do this or do i just have to have him resort to uploading his own pics from his computer to his phone?
