I just moved to the states from Canada.. Gonna be here for 2 years for school.. I need to get a cell phone so people here can reach me.. I went to verizon store today and they told me I would have to pay 400 dollar.. From what she explained to me I understand Why I would need to pay deposit, but 400 is alot.. Does anyone here know how much it would be through Sprint and are there plans better than verizon?

I have a m610 by samsung. I've had it brand new from sprint. I have to literally SCREAM to be heard...is there a way to fix this? Or should I exchange??

So I currently have a family plan. Not bad, but my contract up 9/4/07. Husband is already out of contract. Want to try for sero plan, looks too great a deal to pass up. The deal is of course I am wanting a treo 755p. Husband wants a phone with gps and navigation and still can't find one he likes (wants to be able to use with cycling, easy hands free, no clamshell, so if you have any suggestions please let us know).

Do we wait until 9/4 to work with retentions? Do I try the sero website? Any suggestions? I of couse want best deal on phones, but I am not very good as a bargainer, just too wimpy. What, for those who have access, do you think?

Just got ours and got it up and running. I hate Moto, but DAMN!!!!!11 this is a beautiful phone. Seems to work well too, no menu lag or anything. I love the touch screen and the size of the external display is ridiculous! Hot hot hot. This is gonna sell real well.

Gizmodo is reporting that Sprint will be getting an updated Windows Mobile based handset, the Palm 800w. There is no indication whether the new phone will be an improvement, form-factor-wise, on the clunky 700wx (pictured, right), form factor will be receiving any improvements, but the 800w's leaked specs appear to be impressive.

As is to be expected, the handset will feature Windows Mobile 6, plus a doubling of memory, a resolution increase to 320x320, Wi-Fi, GPS, and EVDO Rev. A, a 3.5G cellular technology that boosts download speeds to 3.1 Megabits per-second, and upload speeds to 1.8 Megabits per-second (similar to basic wired broadband).

Sprint will supposedly be releasing the phone in the fourth quarter of 2007

My girl friend is interested in the sero program more specifically the data connection card. I thought I read somewhere that you knew of people that got a sero account and also got their employer discount as well. She is a health care worker and should qualify for the wsca discount. Anyone know if Sprint will get the curve? I know the Pearl is coming in November. I went to the ATT store to look at the Curve...love the size and the qwerty keyboard keys..... I currently have the Treo 755 and love it, but being female it's so hard typing a long message if you have nails (short). I'd like to get something with flatter keys.....

Looking at the Pearl, but the Curve would be perfect. Also, looked at the new Q @ Verizon and the keys are awesome on that as well.
