Audiovox CDM-9900

Does anyone notice that the end key is not as bright as the other keys on the keypad?
When the phone rings, there are 3 beeps before it rings. Is this normal?

How do you get mp3's to this phone? I just got the phone and really like it, but if I cant get mp3s then I am going to take it back and get the samsung 670...can someone help me?

Hey a friend of mine just bought the vox9900 and he does not have a login for howardforums so I am asking this for him. He said that when he uses his headset that he has to leave the phone open or it will hang up on him when he closes it. He wants to know if there is a way to close it while talking on the headset.:confused:

Am I the only person who is not satified with the 9900's display when I'm outdoors? I find it difficult to see both displays on a sunny day, even in the shade. They are great indoors though.

Was wondering if it gets all of the games available on GIN. I know that the v710 does not get a lot of them, so I was wondering if this phone had a large selection of games--there is currently no listing for this phone on the GIN section of the Verizon site. Thanks in advance.

I am wondering if most of the phones that are coming out don't have this feature. I think this feature is very useful.....

Does this phone have video messaging? can it send video? can it recieve video? or just capture video? is the built plastic like the sprint version or metal?

Is there a way to upload pics from Verizon's vzwpix website to the phone?

I have been hearing that Audiovox was going under. The CDM 9900 was the last phone that they were going to come out with.......I also heard that Verizon wanted to get the phones out the quickest way they can... Could someone clear this up for me . I am looking forward on buying the 9900. which looks like an amazing phone.... 😳

I need to upgrade from my lg600 and was looking for comments from any former lg6000 users that now have this phone. I had the 8900 when it came out but returned it for the lg because i didnt like the menu system on the 8900 and the sound quality was not very clear.
So does can anyone comment on sound quality and menu in the 9900 vs lg6000? thanks

wow, 5 for 5. Im impressed. Must b a great phone. I just wish it had come out way back in march when it was supposed too, but, oh well.Im happy w my 7k, so Ill stick it out till 8k comes out and since EVDO is avail here in Los Angeleez Ill b set.

🙂 🙂 is what i will first say EXCELLENT main LCD, those who have seen it will also vouch for the impressiveness of the LCD. The sub LCD is so-so but is sufficient for photo ID and such the navigation system has gotten a much deserved overhaul compared to the 8900, which in my opinion sucked, the speaker phone is reasonable(but hey its 50$?), the camera is VERY sharp better than the lg vx7000 and of course the Motorola v710 🙂 , i am in no way biased towards audiovox actually until this day i dispised all audiovox phones, i own a LG VX-4400 which is currently acting up and i think it is time for an upgrade, i am a huge LG fan, and still am but this is a deal that cant slip from my grasp. I'm looknig at this 3 phones. I'm going to go pick one up. All these people tell me the v710 is the cool phone? WHat Phone is best and why?
