LG enV VX-9900

I've heard news that Verizon is planning on combining the $15 VCast package and the $10 unlimited messaging package. I'm hoping they do this soon but does anyone know anything here? Thanks for any information.

Hoping someone could point me in the right direction for finding information about linking my Env to my laptop and using it as a GPS sensor for my Microsft Streets and Trips. It may not be possible but thought it might work.

I set my video/picture messaging alert to vibrate when i get a picture and it didn't vibrate. I have the same thing for my texts. Has anyone else had experienced this at all? It's not a big deal, just wondering. Thanks.

When i swapped my V our for the EnV on Friday, I bought the plastic clip for it since that's how i carried around my V. The one thing about the plastic clip i didn't like is that thetop ppart evetually wore the paint off of the phone and make the phone not look so nice. On their website, LG sells a specially made leather pouch/case for the EnV. I've seen universal pouches for phones such as the 8100 and 8300 before because 2 of people I know (1 has the 8100 the other has the 8300) have the pouch and it seems like a goo idea because not only does it protect the phone, but since it doesnt clip into the phone, it won't wear the paint away. Does anyone own this pouch? IF so, what do you think about it? Is it worth it? Thanks for any input. So f...

So I love the phone - I really do. I just have 2 complaints...

MobileWeb :
1. Scrolling takes forever.
2. Not alot of memory capacity when web browsing. Some pages wont fully load because of insuficiant memory.

Still... I love this phone. Now, on to getting it to tether with my Mac.

I currently have a KRZR and I've had it since October. The first one I had was experiencing some problems such as freezing and rebooting until finally the screen just didn't come up anymore. I got a replacement about a month ago and this one isn't much better. I've been looking at other phones and I like the look and layout of the enV. Does it have freezing/rebooting problems or anything like that? Do you think I should switch to the enV or keep my KRZR for another year?

Any information from current enV users would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Has anyone incurred problems with call quality during calls on their EnV?

My contract is almost up and I want to upgrade to a new phone. I currently have the VX8000 and I really like the enV a lot - I am almost convinced to get it, but I still have a few questions. I like Windows Mobile OS and the size of the Moto Q Black. However, I have heard and read that the Q has had numerous problems and many people have returned it or hate it because it is buggy. However, I raally like having Outlook, Word, and full HTML browser at my fingertips.
The enV, however, I really like the that design/style and have repeatedly read very high comments about it here and other sites as well. Since it's not a PDA, though, it doesn't have Outlook or Word and only has WAP.

im trying to login into a site that gives me an error "cookies must be enabled" when i enter my name and password...

is this possible to enable?

I downloaded about 50 songs onto the memory card of my phone. However, it is only recognizing about 20 of them. Does anyone know why? They are all .mp3 format...all downloaded from allofmp3.com...

Any suggestions?

does someone know where I can get a collegiate skin? I am looking for Iowa Hawkeyes but I want to see what it looks like with all the cut outs. Verizon site sells it but no picture with cut outs.

my wife and I both made the mistake of buying cherry chocolates with the bluetooth, car charger and carry case kits....we are both on our second and I am about to go on my 3rd!! cuz of defects....i called the local store and they said they cant do anything but swap out for a refurb one...only had it a lil over a month...any ideas of where i can call..waht i should say or who i should talk to?? were at a loss...pay lot sof money and just want a phone that works....would luv an enV

I tried bitpim but keep getting an error...will it work? Anyone have a link to where I can download the driver for the EnV and the USB cable or can I use the bluetooth?

It often efaults from card memory to phone memory. I often have to put pictures, videos, and sounds on card memory many times a day. I asked the VZW people that have Env's what's going on & they were clueless. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I really don't need to edit Office documents but I wish the 9900 calendar was easier to use. Maybe also have a to do list. Does anyone know of any add ons I can use to make the 9900 easier to use as a mini pda? Thanks.

I just picked up 2 VX9900s last night for me and my wife. Very cool phones. Can someone let me know if a sandisk 2GB microSD card will work with this phone? I hear conflicting information.

Also where can I find FREE ringtones and wallpapers? Any good sites out there for this?

Can I just put MP3s or images on a microsd card and plug it in to my phone and use those files as ringtones?

When I go into, Get it Now Info, and look at Memory, it says that VCast is using 26.29MB. Is that really true? I only have one bought Music Video on the phone. All other Videos and Pictures are on my card. I just find that to be a lot of Memory for one program. Any suggestions?
