LG enV VX-9900

My MicroSD Card when I try to format it in the phone, says format failed.

Why is it doing this?

I think I formatted the card already but when I go to memory card usage.. it says 0 mb used and 0 mb available... So I formatted again and now it won't format

Is it just my enV or do you also notice that the chrome ring around your cmaera feels a bit loose and shakes when your phone vibrates? Just wondering.

I haven't gotten the enV yet. But I am in exactly a month. [[May 9th]]. And I was wondering if the phone comes with the microSD card. Or is it bought separately? Sometimes people make it sound as though you have to buy it.

I have had my Env since the end of January. I was wondering whether anyone else has had the problem that once in a while, when you go to view and zoom in on a picture you have taken, the phone either resets after a while or you need to disconnect the battery and reset the phone. After either of these resets, the zoom function is fine. If this is a defect in my phone, what are my options? I bought it on Verizon's Website. Thanks for all your input.

I was just wondering if anyone can point me to a guide or teach me on how to use "clips" of Mp3s as your enV ringer.

I've tried a program called ToneThis, but the sound quality, after conversion, sucks beyond imaginable.

Please help me love my enV even more 😉

Which is a better cell phone? I will give you my honest take on the Samsung because I just bought it two days ago...

The samsung is the hottest phone out right now, lookwise, in my opinion. I really like that i have it an no one else really does yet. i dont mind the camera, however the env's 2.0 is appealing. i think the speakerphone, texting, different menu layouts, are all great. Heres what I'm really getting down to as my worry and why I may switch to the EnV....

was on the phone last nite and it just shut off on me automatically. i thought that maybe my ear had pressed the power button in, but when i turned it back on, i realzed the battery was dead. i cant believe there was not warning beep or anything.... is there a way to turn trhis feature on maybe?

yo guys I have a 2 GB MicroSD from SanDisk. I put it into my phone and formatted it. A couple questions.
1) Theres got to be an easier way to remove Micro-card from phone. I used tweezers last time. (ridiculous) Anything???

2) Computer doesn't read my card. Card should be formatted I believe, and then I put it in computer and nothing happens. What should I do??? Where do I go???

does any one know if it is possible to set a specfic ringtone for a contact when they send you a text message. i know previous LG's had this feature but im not sure about this model

I am using the q currently and am thinking of changing to the EnV i do use wireless sync to get my gmail. I have to have this feature as well as a solid calendar, does wireless sync on the EnV work well and can you put more information in to the sync calendar than the normal calendar? any feed back would be very helpful.

is there a way to get the phone to default to T9 for wtiting text messages from the front pad? its so annoying having to switch every time. and the qwerty is only useful when you have 2 free hands (how often does that happen?)

When you go to the main menu, setings & tools, sound seetings voice commands, what does the voice commands volume raise the volume for? Is it the vole level for when you hit the space bar for the voice commands and say the name of the person you're calling? Is it when you have the ringer and ID on so when someone texts or call you, your phone says call from or message from? I'm confused. Thanks for the help.

My BT headset redials when the button is pushed for couple of seconds. This is common when i put the BT headset into my pocket when not in use. anyone else having this problem?

My phone keeps shutting off randomly. Usually during texts, I'll be in the middle of a text and the phone will just turn off. I have to power up the phone every time with the text being erased. What is going on??

I'm trying to decide on a new phone and I want to know how well the enV handles browsing the web. I've had an LG 8100 forever and it sucks trying to pull up anything that isn't preformatted for WAP. Does the enV use a different type of browser, or are you still stuck going to Mobile Web related sites only?

alright. im able to upgrade on may 9th of this year. [[07]] i'm getting the en, as far as i know. i wanted the v when it first came out. and i came close too. but i didnt get it. so i'm getting the env. though, i do have a few concerns.

i've read a lot of reviews that people have posted, and some of you said that you've had to return your env several times because of some quirks. i don't quite feel like having it for a week, then getting attached and having to return it because something went wrong. i know i'd get a new one, but the wait sucks.
also, is there any EXTREME negativity any of you have about the en...

I just got an enV and everything is perfect except one thing. The camera lens cover is kind of "loose" in the sense that it rattles when I am typing on the QWERTY keyboard or just laying the phone down etc.

Is this just cheapo-build quality that is common with all these phones, or is it just mine? (in other words should I take it back and exchange it)
I guess it's not that big of a deal, but it makes the phone sound kind of plasticky or something and opening and closing the lens cover just feels like its really poorly constructed.

Anyway, just wanted some other opinions...thanks!

Does anyone know Step by step or a link to step by step that will show me how to put a mp3 on my card, like what folder and stuff and then what to do on the phone itself? Because I would really like to know how to do this. Step BY step. Thanks again.
