I do not like this phone and want to sell it now so I can get a new phone asap. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the product.

i was just wondering if using album art takes up more of the phones memory since its also storing pics, and how do you use album art if im transferring mp3's from my comp. using a card reader

i really want the enV, but i am not due for an upgrade until 2009. i have a razr but it has about 2304710 that annoy me about it. so i have two questions.
1) If i have had my phone for a year and have been paying 79.99$ of for a plan plus two extra lines, any discounts there?
2) Do you think the price will drop soon?
i know that since 3 months ago, it used to be 319 full retail, but now it's 249 full retail. If they ever have it down to 150ish to 200 full retail, when do you think that will be?

Directions:

Install USB drivers.
Install Bitpim 9.11
Plug cord into phone.
Plug phone into PC. Let the PC recognize the connection.
Start Bitpim.
Click 'Find Phone' (phone and magnifying glass icon)
Name your phone.
Click 'File' then 'Import' then 'Outlook Calendar'
Click 'Import'
(I think Outlook will launch)
Filter out the date range.
Click 'Replace ...

I received the phone today and so far so good .. but after coming from years of smartphone usuage this is somewhat confusing, lol.

Here are a few questions:

Can the font be increased on the front screen? It's very hard to read.

Can the bar colors for the front and inside screens be changed? Mine are currently blue.

Is there a quick way or a hot key to access the calendar? The current way is kind of cumbersome.

If I have an appointment set in the calendar will it remind me on the front screen or inside screen at all?

okay so i was thinking i am eligible for the company discount for the verizon plans (6 bucks each month less, which adds up :] ) i'm on a family plan, so i want to quit that, add the 6% discount to the plan, and buy a new phone so i have a couple questions about that.
1) Will the cancellation fee be 175 TIMES 3 becuase theres three people, or just once becuase it's one plan?
2) Will our numbers be kept?
3) So then can i get the enV for the 2 yr contract price?

I don't need to synch if there is a way to setup a pop account that would be great.

Hey guys, has anyone had their phone go into a blue screen that says lgvx9900 and then you have to take the battery out for it to go away? I get this when syncing my phone and sometimes when I play songs.

And is anyone else having problems with getting the album art to show sometimes and sometimes not? Or not all album art showing?

Ok. I heard that the 9900 is capable of viewing dvd movies that are put onto the memory card. I would love to do that during down time at my work or traveling. I don't know how this is done and would like information on how to do it.

I was reading the consumer reports on this phone and a person who goes by 7thquedog wrote that you can do it through a 3GP transfer.

Can someone let me know what 3GP is and how it can be done. I'm sure I need to buy a third party software to do it.

My g/f recently just purchased the Env. Awesome phone by the way. I have only one problem. Instead of buying the $30 media bundle, I figured i could just use the DATA CABLE from the chocolate, since they are the same to transfer music and video thru Windows Media Player. I hooked it up to the computer last night and when i plug it in, the computer is recognizing something is being plugged in, but cannot find the proper software, or drivers so that i can sync music from Win Med Player. Is there anywhere that offers this? Its Win Med Player 11 so i figured it would find the proper drivers for it... when we got the chocolate, it was as simple as just plugging it in. okay, so i had a few questions.
1) If i wait a year to get the enV and get the 25% discount, will i be charged the 175 for cancelling my account?
2) My dad has a company discount. His service is paid for by his company, but he is also the authoized for my familiy plan with 2 other people, so can i have this discount if he came to the verizon store?
3) If i am discount eligible, how much would the enV be if i waited a year and got the 25% discount along with the x amount of discounts for a company?

I played back a 15 sec video I made and the loudness almost knocked me out of my seat. I can't figure out how to lower it. I can mute it but not lower it. What obvious toggle am I missing? Thanks for not laughing! alienhiker

I don't know whether thus has been mentioned before, but I had to mention it. When you are putting the Album art onto the songs, you can select all the songs for the album and just add the art once. The computer will do the rest.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything on a search. Does anyone know if the USB data cord that comes with the Music Essentials kit also charges the 9900?

I have the Q but rarely use it for anything other than a phone and text messages. It's in good condition, plus I have unused bluetooth, all the original manuals and disc that came with my purchase.

I was at VZN store and played round with the LG 9900 and really like it. So I was hoping to find someone that has one in good condition and also with original materials that wants to trade.

Does anyone know why it is that if you bump your phone's keypad that the front screen will change? Isn't this what the lock feature is supposed to prevent?
True, you can't access what you have accidentally activated (contacts for instance) without unlocking the keypad, but why has the phone gone to that screen in the first place?

Oh, and psycho, I have tried randomly pushing buttons to see what would happen 🤣

This is how Verizon states it, My uinderstanding is you can bluetooth transfer anything that you could use the micro sd for, so music/pix/flix, they are finally loosening up, anyone try it yet
